Guest guest
Hi. My name is Lori and I did my first coffee enema last Saturday. Nothing but the coffee came out and I felt wired. Today I had a professional colon hydrotherapy session. The tech told me I had a lot of thick mucus and feces that came out and I would need 2-3 more sessions. My question is I got an ocular migraine with numbness in my hands and face, troubling speaking and my heart pounding. Is this a detox reaction? The tech said she has never had anybody have such a reaction. She told me my colon is full of waste because she couldn't get a decent water pressure reading. Do I continue with this therapy? Guest guest
Hi Lori, I think your reactions - the migraine, numbness, speech problems and pounding heart - are caused by toxins being released in your system from having the colonic. Coffee enemas can also make you feel wired for the same reason. Likely the reason the technician has never had someone had such a major reaction to the colonic is because they are not following Bee's program which is already inducing the healing process. Mucus is a way for your body to get rid of toxins, so it's nothing to be concerned about. I think that if you are feeling too overwhelmed after the first colonic, you shouldn't do anymore for a while. Give your body a chance to settle down a bit and balance itself out again. Therefore you feel wired and had more mucus because of toxins being released due to the coffee enema. Mucus is formed in order to eliminate toxins. was also right, that a professional colonic therapist would not understand natural healing and how the body reacts, nor would they know how someone on this program will react. I guess I need to make this statement in the coffee enema stand out more, since some people must use less coffee: 2 tablespoons of organic coffee fully caffeinated, drip grind coffee - do not use non-organic coffee. NOTE>>>>Some people need to dilute the coffee more when they first start. If you are unsure, use 1 1/2 tablespoons of coffee in the same amount of water, and increase the strength later on. The " decent water pressure " reading she is talking about is her own equipment, as to the speed at which she can get the liquids into you. Professional colonics introduce liquids into the colon using rubber tubing and water pressure, which must be low enough so the liquid does not go in too fast, which would harm you. Feces would normally be traveling through your colon any time. I've heard some professionals use too much water pressure in order to get through the session with their clients faster. Of course a professional is going to recommend more colonics because that's how they make their money. In my opinion, it is much safer and better to do your own enemas, particularly using coffee, but lower the amount of coffee so your detoxifying symptoms are more tolerable. Also you do dry skin brushing prior to doing a coffee enema which helps your lymphatic system as well as the liver, and professionals do not have you do that. Essentially professionals only clean out the large colon, and that's all they do, and I've heard that some make up wild stories claiming you had fecal matter stuck in your colon, when you didn't, which is very rare for anyone to have that as this article explains: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig7.php All the best, Bee
