Guest guest
Hi Bee, I started working on being on the Candida Diet over a month ago. Now I am completely on it, except for my vitamin C which needs to be more than doubled. (I'm having " bowel intolerance " so I'm slowly increasing the dose.) I saw your response to Kathy about the Candida Diet and the Healthy Diet. It has me thinking. Do we determine which diet to be on based on our score on the candida questionnaire? My score seemed relatively low and with that score the website said that " candida MIGHT be a problem for me. " I'm also suffering with some mild rheumatoid arthritis (RA) symptoms (slight hand and feet stiffness in the mornings). Should I be on your Candida Diet for the RA symptoms? Because honestly, I'd just love to be on your Healthy Diet program instead so that I can have a glass of raw milk and some raw milk cheese. Especially because that opens up the variety of recipes so much more. Also, can we take this dessicated liver from Radiant Life if we are wanting to get liver into our diet, but don't care for liver? http://www.radiantlifecatalog.com/product/Radiant-Life-Desiccated-Liver-Capsules\ /superfoods-supplements It says it has nothing in it but dessicated beef liver (it's just a powder) from grassfed cows who are NOT given antibiotics, hormones, etc. No pesticides either. Thanks so much Bee! Especially because that opens up the variety of recipes so much more. +++When I realized the Candida Program was actually an overall health program that improves anyone's health, I wanted it for anyone who is unhealthy, not just people who have candida. I also wanted a program for people who got healthy on my Candida Program, and can modify foods accordingly, but they still need to ensure they get all of the nutrients needed, eliminate toxins and damaging foods, etc. so they can maintain their health. Some people " think they are totally healthy " and just want to eat healthier, or they are overweight and do not believe they are unhealthy. Those people certainly do not " think " they have candida, so they won't even look at it. I've known many people like that. One friend is extremely overweight, had a hysterectomy, etc. yet she " thinks she is totally healthy " and just unlucky to be overweight due to family, genetics or whatever. However, being overweight means you are very unhealthy and having a hysterectomy due to fibroids, pain and excessive bleeding means you are very unhealthy. Some people think that because they do not get colds or the flu they are healthy, but we know that means their body has become unable to detoxify itself like it should. Many people do not have the discipline to do the complete Candida Program, etc., and think I am crazy to suggest carbs/sugars are bad for you. Also I think Dr. Crook's Candida Questionnaire is not complete nor accurate, however it the best we have for now. I haven't had the time to create a better questionnaire. Now that you've brought that up, I see that I should also revise the other two health programs so they are just like the Candida Program, and rename the Healthy Program. My Healthy Program would only be for people who actually got healthy. So, please do not do my Healthy Program until you are healthy. +++Why do you think you should take liver pills? Guest guest
Bee~ I just read your last message with the above subject and learned a lot. I am new to this list and still slowly learning. I see I have a lot to learn and that I need to take the time to read through and process information both on this list and your web-site before I am able to truly ask intelligent questions! :-) I thought it was fascinating what you said about not having colds and flus meaning that a body is not detoxifying. It's only been recently that I have had a " good old fashioned " cold where I could actually blow my nose and get something out. I think the last time must have been in the late 70's or early 80's to my recollection. I had always wondered about that. So I am going to take more time and care into all that you put into this list and your web-site (you sure are an amazing person) and educate myself more before chiming in too much. :-) Thanks so much for all that you do. I feel so blessed to have found this list and have just unsubbed from 2 others which I now realize were not giving me the answers I need. All the best to you and yours! I'm still learning too, so welcome to the club. lol! Do not be concerned whether you ask " supposedly " intelligent questions or not. All questions are important, however the more you read and learn the easier it is on me. > > I thought it was fascinating what you said about not having colds and flus meaning that a body is not detoxifying. When you are healthy, like me, your body will be so good at detoxifying itself you won't get full-blown colds or the flu, however when you get toxins you know it, since you'll be clearing out your pipes, mostly in the morning. Normally your body needs to detoxify itself every day on a regular basis but detox symptoms aren't as noticeable when you are healthy. +++One night after getting some toxins I got a full-blown cold for 15 minutes and then it suddenly stopped. I even moved the tissue box to my bed to mop up the mucus. lol! > So I am going to take more time and care into all that you put into this list and your web-site (you sure are an amazing person) and educate myself more before chiming in too much. :-) Thanks so much for all that you do. All the best to you and yours! +++Awe, I'm honored to help Kathy. Sometimes I find it hard to believe that I, of all people, can do this. I think that is because I understand 2 things very well: 1) How the body heals itself naturally, and 2) The correct nutrition all Humans require in order to be healthy. But I'm human too so I make mistakes with some things. You and everyone else who believes in this program can also do your part, by passing it on. It give people hope, and puts them in charge of their health, well-being and happiness, rather than handing it over to doctors who only know toxic treatments and surgery. Onward & upward! Guest guest
Hi Bee, Thanks for the in depth response. I had a feeling the answer was " no " about doing the Healthy Diet instead of the Candida Diet, but I like dairy enough that I thought I would ask. Since you recommend liver (ie. the Liver files- http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods37.php) and since I know organ meats are so healthy and nutrient dense, I thought I'd take the liver pills. I'd rather take the pills than the actual liver. Suzy > > > > Hi Bee, > > > > I started working on being on the Candida Diet over a month ago. So don't worry about it. Bee
