Guest guest
Hi I tried the epsom salt bath after about 20 minutes My heart started pounding and I had to get out I got out a lay down for a while and I felt my whole body throbbing it subsided after 10 min Is this good or bad normal or not? Thanks Steve
Guest guest
Hi Steve, Yes, that happens to me when I haven't done them in a long time. Not sure what it could be as there are various factors.... 1. was the water too hot possibly activating hypotension? 2. did you use too much epsom salts - start at 1/4th or 1/2 of what you used and try again in a week. 3. try staying in less time and working up. Monitor how you feel tonight and tomorrow. I always sleep better and have less muscle pain and a lighter less toxic feel the next day or two. Wait a week before doing it again, you may have mobilized some toxins. I would take some charcoal (2-3 capsules), some Vit C (3-5k mg)to make charge on toxins neutral), some blood purifiers (like chlorophyll - brain dead - can't remember the others - can google.) Make sure your bowels are moving so the toxins can be released. Take magnesium to move your bowels if they aren't moving but don't overdo. I'll be curious to see how you feel tomorrow. If you don't feel well then you may have a sulfur issue or a heavy toxic load (both are possible so you have to walk a fine line until you figure it out.) It may take several baths to figure it out. HTH, Marti P.S., I never try something new during the week (especially if you are still working). You just never know if you will need a couple of days to recover. > > > Hi > > I tried the epsom salt bath > > after about 20 minutes > My heart started pounding and I had to get out > I got out a lay down for a while and I felt my whole body throbbing > it subsided after 10 min > > Is this good or bad normal or not? > > Thanks > > Steve >
Guest guest
This happens to me sometimes still. I found that it helps not to get out during this 'thing', but wait a few more minutes until it passes somewhat and then get out. You might try rinsing too, to stop the absorption. Maybe you are getting too much since you are just beginning. But what Marti said should be helpful too. It does seem to get better, just keep up the baths. -- Warmest Regards, Robin Little Hi I tried the epsom salt bath after about 20 minutes My heart started pounding and I had to get out I got out a lay down for a while and I felt my whole body throbbing it subsided after 10 min Is this good or bad normal or not? Guest guest
Hi Steve, The palpitations are probably the result of your adrenals compensating for the magnesium dilating your blood vessels: adrenaline increasese heart rate, and noradrenaline constricts. That's why it feels awful when you stand up and your stroke volume decreases. If you want to throw yourself for a loop try eating a full meal before your bath: blood shunt to the gut, dilated blood vessels, on top of likely low blood volume and exhausted adrenals. For me it produced quite an odd sensation I can't really recommend. When I was taking epsom baths I noticed my resting heart rate the morning after was 14 bpm less than usual. This after my resting heart rate went from 64 bpm to 78 bpm about a year ago. I see this as compatible with Cheney's theory of magnesium being universally benificial against oxygen toxicity. Unfortunately I can't take an epsom bath without suffering sharp pains coming from my adrenals. They seem to be tired of compensating for compromised heart function, and dilating the vascular system is out of the question. The baths are great if you can tolerate them but they're a pretty concentrated dose. Hope this helps. Graeme From: stangah@... Guest guest
Thanks , Should be heading over to Manchester/ Cheshire on Thursday, so will give the company a ring and try and collect some. It's certainly a lot cheaper that way! I'm still suffering with my teeth ! Been referred to the Dental Academy in Daresbury for more root canal treatment. Can't believe it but whilst waiting for the appointment I now have an abscess in another tooth! This has all been going on since March, so really had enough now. Hope you are all ok and is getting on well at Nursery. Guest guest
Hi Keri, I bought some off eBay really cheap - it was 99p plus £3.50 postage for the following - I use it in the bath to ease aches and pains. 3 x 1000g bags Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulphate.) BP/FCC. Put this into the search engine of eBay and you should find it. Hope this helps Stacey > > does anyone know of a cheap/home delivery supplier please? I am very short on magnesium. Guest guest
Hi Kerry, Lloyds Chemist will order it for you for next day but you would have to collect it. I buy a 5Kg box for around £13-£14. Judy > > does anyone know of a cheap/home delivery supplier please? I am very short on magnesium. Using a magnesium spray at night time but still no sleep. Guest guest
This is the site Dr. Myhill recommends for Epsom salts: http://www.justasoap.co.uk/catalog/index.htm I haven't ordered any from here yet, just because I don't know where I would be able to keep a really big bag. I got 5kg from my local Jardine's chemist, I think it was about £13 or £14. Hope this helps, Louise. > > does anyone know of a cheap/home delivery supplier please? I am very short on magnesium. Guest guest
If the magnesium and sulphate from epsom salts is truly absorbed through skin in bath or spraying skin after with it, (which I'm trying both) I'm wondering if increased sulphate (sulphur) helps with killing off candida? Isn't it sulphur type foods that help to kill candida? Just wondering how it benefits, thanks. I found from reading that there haven't been too many studies done showing the absorption of this through the skin, but it's generally believed to somehow be absorbed through our skin. Only the foods you have on the food list. I plan on continuing with the plan, but am discouraged. I have been eating this way with meats, fats, and oils for months. The veggies are only green beans, the squash. Occasionally broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts because I have a mild sensitivity to them so have them every few weeks. I am at a LOSS and DEPRESSED. +++Hi Elaine, You cannot expect to get improvements or relief of any symptoms after only 2 days. There are no quick fixes, like doctors try to make us believe, when you are healing naturally. It takes time and patience. It takes 1 month of natural healing for every year you've been unhealthy, and for most people today that is since before they were born. The 1 month rule is also true for any kind of illness, symptom, health issue, organ malfunction, injury, etc. you've had before, called " retracing " - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php If you read messages on the group every day you'd see my message about this yesterday, where I write about my brother who had diarrhea for 20 years and it took 20 months on my program for it to stop. Are you doing the 2 clear water enemas per day too? You may be one of those people who must stay on liquid and pureed foods much longer than 2 days too. I've known people who had to stay on them up to 6 months, and one lady had to stay on them 1 year. However after 9 days of doing clear water enemas 2 times a day you only do enemas every 4-5 days - see the instructions for that on the 9-Day Program. So hang in there and keep at it. Many people who have done the 9-Day Program believe it is very helpful, but again it is not a quick fix, and neither is this program. All the best, Bee
