Guest guest
I'm getting a lot of muscles spasms, and involuntary movements in my arms, legs and face. It won't stop and I can't relax. I understand about the healing reactions and retracing, but this was already happening before (worse today and yesterday though). It's difficult to get to sleep. I've been taking epsom salt baths and soaking for a while, but they're not helping, Is there a treatment or something to help calm this down? I found other medical problems on the site like migraines, allergies, but didn't see muscles. > > I'm on the diet, on most supplements, still need to buy vitamin E and I think another. I'm figuring out amounts of some things like salt and fats. I still need to increase coconut oil more. I think I am on most of it so far. I'm doing the baths and brushing (have some questions on those). No birth control pills, green drinks, chlorella, diuretics or other things you mentioned. > > I don't get spasms all the time, but I get them often and sometimes it's worse like yesterday. Right now it is mild. If my muscles are not jumping, then I sleep, when they're active I can't fall asleep. I'm not sure when it's worse. It might be worse or I notice it more when I lie down or try to rest, but it can also happen when I'm out. > > You just told me salt is a diuretic, maybe that's what made it worse yesterday because I've been drinking quite a bit of the salt drink. I mistakenly made it with a Tablespoon of salt instead of a teaspoon. So much to learn! +++Hi April, Getting on all of the supplements is important. When you are missing any of them it makes a difference. Take your time increasing your fats and oil ratios. Maybe you understand it, but many people think this is a race so they increase their fats too quickly and lower their carbs too quickly, which causes problems. Yes, having 1 tablespoon of salt instead of 1.5 teaspoons would cause muscle issues. I suggest you not get all of your daily salt in water alone. I think I may have to remove that recommendation about the Electrolyte Drink since too many people are going overboard; not that you are. : ) I've had some after thoughts about salt, and I think it is better to add salt to foods while they are cooking and/or sprinkle them on foods after they are cooked. Since I realized heating it does not destroy its benefits in any way I've been adding it while cooking all of the time now. The large crystals dissolve so easily that way. Also it takes time for your body to incorporate and utilize anything you add, like vitamin E or any other supplement, as well as changes in diet. There is so much to learn for sure, but you are doing great and are well on your way already! You go girl! All the best, Bee
