Guest guest
Hi Jen, I stayed on 100mg for nearly two weeks but had been on between 50mg to 75mg for over 1 year and half. I don't think if I had gone straight to 100mg at the beginning of the protocol I would have seen any shrinkage. It takes time for some people to get rid of the toxins before physically seeing some benefit and I think I am one of those. I had plenty of other things that the iodine was fixing before it tackled my nodule (fibrocystic breasts, sinuses, fibroids, adrenals, hypoT) I feel that going to 100mg for 2 weeks just gave my body that one big push. My nodule reduced and after losing 12lbs slowly, I then dropped 8 lbs after my lymph glands had cleared. I also looked at my diet and went as raw as I could, stopped sugar and unnecessary fat and drank plenty of cold water. I also looked at the Dukan Diet theory. This all helped. > > > > Hi Everybody, > > > > I have not posted for a long time and just want you all to know that after a year and more than a half on the iodine protocol, my nodule on my thyroid has finally reduced in size! I have lost 21 lbs in weight and I have managed to get rid of a large mole on my temple. My adrenals are back to normal too. This has all been due to iodine. > > > > In May I went up to 100mg of Iodoral and went through the heaviest detox to date. My lymph nodes eventually swelled and I began to develop boil like spots behind my ears. Not pleasant. I reduced my iodine at that point and it took several weeks before I was able to reduce the swelling. I was lucky to have a friend staying who is a Massage Therapist who gave me lymphatic drainage massages. > > > > In June, I started Thyroid-S after 6 years of dropping Levothyroxine and it was the last piece in my jigsaw puzzle back to health. > > > > I do not take adrenal support anymore or St 's Wort and have changed my Vit C to Amla. I still take Vit B complex, 25mg Iodoral, 120mg Thyroid-S; this is low as I was taking 125mcg of Levo (60mg of Thyroid-S is 38mcg of Levo). I take 200mg mag citrate and also use mag chloride oil which I rub into my neck. I take 200mcg selenium or 4 brasil nuts. When I am not in the sun I take 2000iu of Vit D3. My levels of D3 and ferritin have risen over the protocol period to reasonable levels. > > > > I started using white iodine for some of my moles and have had one peel off on my face, hurray! > > > > I now use argan oil butter on my skin which I warm and add Lugol's to. I also add argan oil to my salad dressing as it reduces cholesterol. > > > > As I can remember, the last time I posted here, my endo recommended that I have my thyroid removed as I have irregular cells. I last saw him in June where he realised that as my nodule was shrinking, I possibly could be going in the right direction. > > > > > > Thanks and everybody here. This forum is the best. > > > > > > > > PS Apologies to those who sent be emails and did not get a response. I was having problems at a specific time with my set up. > > >
Guest guest
Hi , I live in France and the medicine here is very conventional. It is worse than the UK in regards to how doctors view natural desiccated thyroid medication which Thyroid-S is. In the UK, if you go to a private doctor, you might be able to get him to prescribe Thyroid-S or an equivalent. In France you cannot get natural desiccatted thyroid meds at all as far as I know and all they ever push is synthetic T4. I buy mine over the internet from online pharmacies. Here is the link http://www.edrugnet.co.uk/showprice.asp?name=thyroid & bysearch=ok & Go.x=12 & Go.y=12 Hope this helps > > > > > > - sounds great - a very positive outlook - tell me what is > >Thyroid-S? Is > > > > > it helpful for thyroid cancer? > > > > > > Regards > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ________________________________ > > > > > >

Guest guest
I've been integrating more fats and protein into my diet for the past three weeks, and while I'm not fully on the diet (yet), I've had some tremendous improvements in mood, energy, and not feeling sleepy all the time. Brain fog and inability to concentrate are better also. My wife has noticed some of the differences. She even says my skin looks better. Thanks, Bee! (And thanks to the group too.) Cheers, Bee
