colitis/bloodwork shows more inflammation

Hi Bee,

I'm the mom with the 13 year old son with colitis. He's been on diet and

supplements for 3 months now. His bloodwork just came back showing low

absorption levels and very high inflammation. His diarrhea is still bad but the

bleeding has stopped. I started slippery elm bark last couple of days--seems to

help. I'm wondering if this is part of healing process. He is extremely thin.

Just need some support. Very concerned.
