Guest guest
I guess I like that hot taste. <smile> I really enjoy spicy foods. So what's this I read somewhere about Republic of Tea making things for blood type? Is that true? Can one only order on-line, or is this brand carried in HFS? Guest guest
You can get it from either Kathy S or . I just checked ' price at $10.95. I haven't seen Kathy's for a while. If your HFS carries it you can get it there.Mine does, but they order so infrequently, you can't count on them having it. > I guess I like that hot taste. <smile> I really enjoy spicy foods. > > So what's this I read somewhere about Republic of Tea making things > for blood type? Guest guest
I am not sure about the tea -- I have to admit I do indulge on occasion -- but try spiced apple cider which mixes with hot water or hot cocoa. Both work well for me. Also, not to sound like a broken record about Isopure but --- if I mixed it with very warm tap water (not boiling) it makes for a sort of hot cocoa and full of protein! in GA > Tea > > > Hello all, I know we aren't supposed to have tea or coffee > due to the tanic acid, but what about herbal teas? Guest guest
Audry- Unfortunately, I have been told we can't have any tea. We have to prevent ulcers which can be very serious for us. I am confused about the tannic acid part. I have read that it is the tannic acid and I have also read that it is the " tannins " . Another time I read that any tea made with any roots contains these tannins. If yu find out something different, let us know. Guest guest
You'll have to tell me how it turns out. I'm not crazy about the taste of black tea (it's all those tanins), and that particular Trader Joe's black chai tea tasted nothing like chai to me, more like really strong, slightly spicy black tea. But maybe if you blend it up and sweeten it it would work. > > > > > Thank you so much for replying! I know that there are no > easy > > > > > answer. I just have to want it badly enough. Guest guest
Hey there Ann!! I myself am a tea drinker, hot and cold. I like flavored hot tea and I LOVE sweet tea. I am going to Gulf Shores in June and my most favorite thing is that every where you go, you can get sweet tea! It's not like that here in Missouri, only a few places have it and you have to know where to go to get it. a in St. Louis, adding my own sugar to my tea:) > > > So tell me all you peeps across the Pond... > > Is tea a very English thing to drink then? Guest guest
I agree that drinking warm liquid, sometimes just room temperature helped me. If I drank anything cold it was very difficult to get things moving. I did drink tea, and still do. We have an older English Gentlemen age 90, living in our neighborhood who moved here from Stratford England when was 20 years old. Drinks, lots of tea, imported, of course from England. He walks every day 2 miles and has, since he was a teenager. He is a delight to talk to, his mind is very sharp and is knowledgeable about most anything. To listen to his accent you would think he only moved here recently. To live that long and, be as bright and active as he is, gives one hope Ed So tell me all you peeps across the Pond... Is tea a very English thing to drink then? I hear everyone talking about soda and water, whereas I swear (in a very ladylike manner, of course) by drinking tea, mainly because it's a warm drink. I get the feeling that it helps to dissolve food hanging about in the oesophagus, when a cold drink would just swish it about. For me tea has magical properties and I drink absolutely loads of it every day. (And while I am running up and down the steps getting the food down, I often run into the bathroom as well. It all has to end up somewhere!!! (lol) ) Water doesn't do it. Thank goodness for tea. (Do you think I might get offered a job by a British advertising firm?) When I had the immense privilege of meeting 's little son several months ago, he asked me "Why are you drinking tea? Is it because you are old?" I still laugh about that one. Guest guest
- Your not alone Ann. My husband drinks it constantly. When I have too many spasms I drink camomile tea. It helps relax the soft tissues inside. Guest guest
Dear Everyone, We now have coconut tea and has very high calcium content. We would like to position it as a calming tea because it clams the nerves and gives one a good sleep. It is already in the market here in the Philippines. It comes from the different parts of the coconut tree. Aside from high calcium it has 0 caffein and also has Vitamin C. (Calcium 735.02 mg/100g) It was found to be very good for agitated and high strung persons when it was used for a number of mental patients.
