Guest guest
wondering if there is any rhyme or reason to this or if others suffer from it. After a nightlong fast, I feel okay, but get low blood sugar type symptoms if I don't eat within a couple hours of waking. (dizzy heavy head, confused, shakes) What I have found is that now, (not before on my downward slope to being here now) is that my first meal really agitates my body the most it seems, I get stingy feelings, esp in mouth, very agitated in legs and my personal host of sx start. But as I eat through the day 'typically' not always, the next meal are less of an assault on me. Often my evening intake of food is the very least reactive. I also get sort of a newer drowsy feeling, and heavy eyes after breakfast - is this a type of insulin response? On the positive, I kept at it, and am now able to slightly better tolerate the nutiva coconut oil! I am starting to work up to 1/2 tsp 3x a day instead of just 1/4 tsp. I have it with my meals of course. Also, even though I react to food/eating, I don't always which is both good and perplexing. I at 2x yesterday and the 3rd time of same food, I got very intense crazy zingy, internal searing acid agony, but then fortunately did not at 4th meal at night, and was able to sleep through the night w/o being woken up with the aforementioned sx. because I have limited foods, I just pick one meat and 2 vegs to eat that day and eat it 4x. I have trouble with only 3x b/c i get low blood sugar sx and shakes etc. But did notice that yesterday not as bad. Perhaps the e.v.c.o. is helping with that. Thank you

After a nightlong fast, I feel okay, but get low blood sugar type symptoms if I don't eat within a couple hours of waking. (dizzy heavy head, confused, shakes) +++Hi there. Would you please put your first name at the end of your posts. We have so many messages on this group from many people and it is easier to remember people by name, rather than email address. Thanks a bunch! +++You may not be having low blood sugar symptoms. Detoxifying symptoms " feel the same " as low blood sugar so that why many people get them confused. Your body detoxifies itself more at night so it is understandable you'll have detoxifying symptoms in the morning. > > What I have found is that now, (not before on my downward slope to being here now) is that my first meal really agitates my body the most it seems, I get stingy feelings, esp in mouth, very agitated in legs and my personal host of sx start. +++If low blood sugar was the problem you would feel better after eating, however you aren't. After not eating all night (fasting), your first meal with all of its nutrients helps your body detoxify even more, so it goes into high gear since the symptoms you describe are all detoxifying symptoms. But as I eat through the day 'typically' not always, the next meal are less of an assault on me. Often my evening intake of food is the very least reactive. +++I've found that is typical for most people. > I also get sort of a newer drowsy feeling, and heavy eyes after breakfast - is this a type of insulin response? +++Feeling drowsy and heavy eyes are also detoxifying symptoms, so that's why people become fatigued, not only when they are going downhill towards poorer and poorer health, but also when they go uphill towards better and better health. +++You will also re-experience, called retracing, of all of your past symptoms as explained in this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php +++So IF you had any of the symptoms in the past that you have now, that is because of retracing. However, new symptoms will also happen, as explained in the article above. > On the positive, I kept at it, and am now able to slightly better tolerate the nutiva coconut oil! I am starting to work up to 1/2 tsp 3x a day instead of just 1/4 tsp. Getting healthy is not a steady uphill climb, since it has many ups and downs. When your body gets stronger and you are feeling good for awhile, wham your body will dig in and start healing and detoxifying more since it has become more able. > because I have limited foods, I just pick one meat and 2 vegs to eat that day and eat it 4x. I have trouble with only 3x b/c i get low blood sugar sx and shakes etc. But did notice that yesterday not as bad. Perhaps the e.v.c.o. is helping with that. +++As I wrote above, please do not assume you have low blood sugar because detoxifying symptoms feels like low blood sugar. However, as your body heals it will also retrace all of your past low blood sugar issues, just like it retraces past blood pressure issues, etc. When your body retraces low blood sugar there is nothing you can do to change it, so that's why direct treatments or treating symptoms doesn't work or help. So it is not important to actually " know " what is causing your symptoms, whether from the past or not, since you know you are progressing towards health on this program. Just carry on and let your body do its job. It does a marvelous job when we treat it according to Nature's Laws on Health and Healing.
