Bee,

I have been on your diet since October of 2010.  I had already modified my diet

the May before but went on your diet totally in October.  I started your diet

because of severe vaginal issues with yeast and bacterial infections - the

itching was unbearable.  I visited my gynocologist last week, and she gave me a

clean bill of health.  I still have a tiny itch but it is hardly noticeable.

Your diet truly worked for me and I am going to stick with it.  I have lost 10

pounds and feel great.

The only issue that I have now is what I think is retracing.  I suffered from

severe anxiety when I was young, and through therapy and a great therapist I

overcame it completely without medication.  However, I am feeling anxious lately

and the longer I am on the diet, the stronger my anxiety seems to be getting.

Can you explain to me why we retrace old illnesses?  I love the diet and don't

wany to give it up but the anxiety issue is starting to concern me.

Thanks,

+++Hi ,

That's wonderful you've had such great results from my program, including losing

weight. Hooray!

Anxiety is one of the many emotions that are retraced while your body is healing

itself, which may become worse before it gets better. This is explained in the

Retracing article under the Heading Emotional Healing Reactions:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php

The reason you retrace old illnesses, along with emotions, is because that is

how the body reverses the disease processes. Emotions and disease are closely

linked. Emotions are like memories that must be unburied and released too,

along with releasing toxins, so repair and rebuilding can occur.

Releasing emotions, just like healing, takes 1 month for every year you

experienced them previously, so hang in there long enough so you can get through

this.

Here's some things to help you:

1) Do things that help you relax, i.e. Epsom salt baths, and deep breathing

exercises to switch off the fight/flight nervous system:

2) Avoid stressful situations, people who are toxic, and bad news.

3) Become occupied with things you enjoy so the anxiety doesn't get the upper

hand, i.e. visit people who are positive and uplifting, do things you enjoy like

crafts, watch comedy on TV, read a good book, etc.

4) Get out every day and take a walk.

I hope that helps.

All the best, Bee
