Guest guest
Hi Bee, I am writing to ask you a question about the rate with which my skin is healing. As you know I have psoriasis and it is very difficult to see it daily. I seemed to go through a good change a month or so ago and was so excited! Now it is moving like a tortoise and I feel a little concerned that I am not responding well for some reason. I am needing encouragment not because the diet is difficult for me or that I am giving up but because it is taking this long for my skin to clear. My past experience with healing of psoriasis involved that good 'ol alkaline diet that I know makes zero sense but my skin was gorgeous in 6 months time. Of course I worked out like a crazy person to sweat and I weighed in at a whopping 104 pounds at 5'6 " . The diet I followed consisted of mainly vegetables, fruits and a few grains with fish once a week. I was starving but it felt so good to see my skin clear! I realize that my body has been malnourished since birth and what I did 12 years ago to clear my skin was harsh. I have never received this amount of nutrients before in my life which makes it all the more difficult that I am not clearing as quickly as I had hoped. Sorry for the long message but I have been dealing with this silently for a while and need your advice. Sincerely,
