Guest guest
Hi Dave, I will put on my list. I am always saddened when I hear of young children having bouts with such tough diseases. Do you know when will be going in to see the doctor next? Let's hope he will be able to get the proper care with minimal consequences. Guest guest
Prayers going up for and family! My son, Chandler, was diagnosed with a spondyloarthropathy and spondylolisthesis at age 14. It is heartbreaking to think of these young ones traveling the road we are all walking. Keep the faith and remember ~ early diagnosis means early treatment and less damage in the long run. We serve a God of miracles and I'm not through asking and expecting a cure! If not in my lifetime, then in my son's and 's!! Keep us posted. Much love & blessings to all! Guest guest
Lynn - Sounds like a fungal infection. I get the black specks too in the pores. One person that had a black speck analyzed - it came back as mold/fungal. I hope you can get him some help before it gets worse... > > Hi all > > I know my kids will not listen to me but I have to tell someone. My two year old grandson was itching and scratching today. He loves to play in the sink water while I do dishes. Well they use Dawn liquid and than I add bleach to the dish water. I use to use Dawn for many years and switched to Ajax but now will go back to Dawn because of these mites. I have a big bottle of Dawn I was using for the shower when I discovered the Salt did a better job. Well as I was doing dishes the mites retreated from my elbows and inner arm up into my upper arm and neck and shoulders. They did not like the bleach and Dawn liquid. My grandson was still itching so I grabbed the dish rag and washed down his body except for taking off his diaper. Than just for some reason I watched his back dry while he was playing in the water in the sink. I saw a dark speck and picked it off his back. Did not have any magnifier to see if it was anything. Darn!!! Than I saw another. Now I am really checking the babys back and By the time he dried off two more tiny black specks showed up. It was like they were coming out of his pores. Could be they were there from the wash cloth but I know at least two of them were not there when I was looking his back over and then were suddenly there when I looked back on that area again. Well that poor baby is going to be stuff with what is happening and I am not sure my kids will ever figure it out. My daughter in-law had me watch both kids at my house. I tried to keep them is safer rooms but they both were itching alot. My hubby put the baby down for a nap on our bed which I did not want him too but he thought it would be ok. When their mom showed I told her they were itching. Later that day I checked on them to see if they were still itching. She said not at all and that I was paranoid. I do know for a fact that they do not pay alot of attention to what the kids are doing. So they could have been itching and she was ignoring it. Well I got to quit asking her about the kids because they seem a little put out with me asking. I have always tried not to ask to much and always kept the asking short and sweet. > > In Light Lynn >
Guest guest
Yep who knows...a friends baby came over for a few minutes and I was holding my breath...I don't trust it...men sometimes not as much as women but my daughter has had mites for a year...She doesn't really notice them but gosh they infest her shoes so...oh well sometimes We are powerless over others you surely did the right thing(lots of work though) --- torpedolynn@... wrote: From: " Lynn " <torpedolynn@...> bird mites Subject: Grandson Date: Tue, 22 Dec 2009 21:05:03 -0000 Hi all My duaghter in-law came over last night and while on the phone with her hubby (my son) they asked Rick if my grandson could spend the night. The older one. Six years old. Rick said okay. I felt rooked into saying okay also. Did not want to say right in front of the boy no becuase some bug may attack him. He is a worrier like me and he does not need to spend all his time scared of something that may never happen. Than Rick says he can sleep in our bed with you and I will sleep in the guest room. Its like; Noo. I will sterilize the guest room to make sure no bugs are there and he can sleep in there and not the most infested place in the whole house our bed. What is wrong with people. Just because he does not think it attacks him he thinks it okay to risk the child. I want to hit him in the head. So I am in the process of spraying down an uncoverd mattress and washing beding in the prenium powder Bio-Kleen. sprayed the room down with Echo Orange and s wood oil. I think he will be safe in there because not only has Rick slept in there whom may be a carrier, but other guest have slept in there that do not live here and they never seem to get bit and are not infested. Like our long time friend from the bay area. Keep my fingers crossed. If he wakes me in the middle of the night saying something is biting him. I am going to put him through the whole shower routine. Than I will demand that no one spend the night anymore till I know that I am not being attacked. Guest guest
Hi Bee, my grandson is going through a very difficult time. His girlfriend age 21 has had cancer of the ovaries and now the doctors found a tumor in her brain. I asked my daughter if it would be alright to send him some of the supplements that we use on your diet. She agreed it would be good. I cannot afford all the supplements, please let me know what supplements would be the best to start him on to help with the stress he is going through.
