Guest guest
We are encouraging her. I don't want her to feel limited at all. I didn't think she had pain when she wasn't running the fever, but she did cry out when the doc touched her left knee, so I don't know. She says she doesn't have pain, but is it possible that she has got used to the pain as the norm? Guest guest
Does her knee look bigger than the other one? Does it feel warm to the touch? It seems like she would have a hard time running on a knee with inflammation, but maybe she has gotten used to how it feels. tends to be protective of swollen joints. I never have to worry about her over doing it on a swollen joint. When Devon has fevers how many nights are they and are they only at night? ran a constant low grade fever that spiked up at night for the first three months at onset. The doc said her onset wasn't the norm though. I hope you get answers soon, or the episodes stop, which is completely possible. > > > > Thanks. Guest guest
The knees only look bigger when she has the fever, after they go back to normal. Her whole body is hot, so it is hard to tell about the heat in the joints, but they are red. Devon's fevers start to go up at around 3 pm and remain very high until next morning, and then tends to fade out through the day. Sometimes they last for weeks, sometimes 24 hrs. Just depends on the day. I have had five stimulator surgeries four were ans the last one was medtronic I have have been blessed being pain free by april 28 of 2007 it will be three years. The stimulator can cover your legs, feet, it also helps with my bladder. I had a teathered spinal cord and than had surgery for it before that one I had one for a tarlov cysts that was compressing on my nerves. I am blessed that I can walk without numbeness and pain again in my life. You will have some limitations such as lifting. And after surgery there are some restrections your doctor will go over with you also your rep. I think you are ok with intercourse you will need to ask your doctor how long you will need to wait to heal from surgery. Pregancy as far as I know hasn't happened with someone having a stimulator. I am 30 and single and not sure about intercourse cause I haven't yet in my life waiting for marriage. Those are good things to ask your doc. If you would like to read testiomies of people from medtronic I posted my story there a while back. www.tamethepain.com info www.medtronic.com I can tell you there are many brands out now however medtronic is the lowest cost out of the three. Guest guest
, only you know how you feel. I worked for over 20 yrs a total workaholic and did not even know I had a virus... had good days and bad ones but just thought I was well..... did not know..... after diagnosis, I had the luxury of being able to stop work. I took care of father for ten years and mom for ten years. I would say working is good for you if you like it......... As a daughter of a dentist and being around a lot of lower immune people..... I would wear a mask working around cat litter... but that is me....... and I wore a mask as a nurse and in the dental field.... the powder is what????? I would be more concerned about heart and lungs and what the powder is........... sally --- <cedwardrobertsjr@...> wrote: > good day to all. I hope you all are doing well. Guest guest
is not splenda an artificial sweetener supposedly a better alternative to aspartame? so far it appears to me that all artificial sweeteners are evil dangerous to be avoided. wear a mask by all means. stress affects immune system strength for sure. probably best to find another job & get out of there a.s.a.p. i'm not reading in this in any depth, i just avoid the products like the plague automatically, but i did see something prominent on one of them about hepatotoxicity. http://www.holisticmed.com/splenda/ http://www.truthaboutsplenda.com/ http://www.splendaexposed.com/ cheers, bobL myspace: http://www.myspace.com/bob021147 ebay: http://stores.ebay.com/bobLs-fine-flotsam homepage: http://www.toad.net/~blarson/ > questions > > > good day to all. Guest guest
, Once I looked at the Splenda molecule and determined that they had split of a OH group and substituted a CL group so that the body doesn't recognize it as sugar. The only problem with this is that in solution, such as urine, the CL group (Clorine) has a negative charge on it and will jump off and bind with water and make mild Hydrocloric Acid. If your exposure is not great and you don't have problems bladder infections or lung infections, I personally wouldn't worry about it. Welcome to the group. You will find a supportive group here. Guest guest
Hello , I am suffering with toxic hepatitis ... exact cause unknown. We suspect it is either from the lumbar cortisone shots and the mega doses of Advil/Tylenol I was taking. Chemicals, toxic fumes and other un-natural substances Can cause damage to the body. Guest guest
Hi Jeannie, All I know is that the doctors treat you like a drug abuser until you prove them wrong,,,at least that is what I have found. I don't know if they will give you a 3 month supply,,,,I don't think they will do that with narcotics. However, when my doctor prescribed my Vicodin the last time, he wrote it with 2 refills, so I won't need a new scrip each month. It says on the bottle that they must last for one month, which is what makes me think that they can still only give out a one month supply, but you can get two refills I have no idea if that is a Federal guideline or not though. Hope this helped! Hugs, Barb -- questions Hi all I was talking to my friend who lives in Oregon- she's just starting to be diagnosed and treated for her back and neck problems. She's had the general pain meds, and they've quit working for her, but before the dr. would give her an opiate, she had to have a drug test. Is this normal? She's in her mid-forties, and is not into getting drugs just for the pleasure of it, she s in horrific pain like the rest of us. Also-she said her dr. said that they were now able to write prescriptions for opiates for three months at a time. Does anyone know if that is a federal law, or just her state? i don't go to my pain dr. for another couple weeks, but it would sure help me in the cost of my dr. co-pays, especially since my pain dr. is considered a specialist and I have to pay more for them. Also, it would help in the cost of scrips., since if you are allowed to get them by mail, you save more money. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about those two questions- Thanks Jeannie __________________________________________________________ Don't pick lemons. Guest guest
I'm confused by your question. It appears you think that when on the device is treating all in the client list, if so that is not the case. It only works on the one you have designated (or more if they are worked on as a group). The report sent is going to Romania to be put into a large computer file and it looks for all the items below as well as geopathic issues and responded (improvements) and which items may have linked to an item. This is how he found the connection to certain items in the test matrix helping with HIV/Aids by looking for repetitive correlations in those type of people. Hope this helps some in your understanding and sorry I did not respond until now I was in Las Vegas at the conference Fisher presented for helping to build a business. Guest guest
Brady sees his ped. tomorrow and now I m wondering should we just get to the ENT and get the surgery done or should I press for the CT prior to seeing the ENT...with his medical conditions this means an admission for us. Also does anyone know the likelihood that he has a c-toma in both ears? We can see the one with the otiscope in the left, but he has hearing loss in both ears. If indeed he does have both ear affected, do surgeons ever do simultaneous bilateral surgeries? Hi Stefanie Bilateral acquired ctoma is not uncommon but bilateral congenital ctoma would be very rare. I take it that son ,being so young, has the congenital form? Since he has multiple medical problems, is it possible that he has been diagnosed with some particualr genetic condition that might include ear malformations? And do you know if his hearing loss is conductive or whether there is nerve loss also? It's pretty unlikely that a surgeon would want to operate on both ears at the same time. It would be a lot to handle and make the surgery twice as long. Phil -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. Guest guest
Phil, I guess we don't know which form he has. Along with a brain malformation, heart malformation, missing kidney, airway issues (secondary o the heart malformation) we were also told he has simple malformations that most people would not be able to see....extra space between his big toe and next one, ears are turned a it, and of course he has mal-shaped ear canals. With all that being said, there is no gentic connection/syndrome that the doctors have found and he genetic structure has been studied at 4 different universities across the US. The hearing test we had done stated that it is conductive hearing loss. The audiologist was hoping that he still " just had fluid trapped " in the right ear to cause the loss in that one. The left we can attribute to the c-toma. With his airway issues, I suspect they want him under anesthesia as little as possible...any amount requires a night in the ICU or step down unit as the last time he went under and was intubated, his airway swelled and he coded in my arms...thank God I was in hospital already. I know no one can predict how the recovery will be, but those out there with little ones going through it, when were your children back to " normal " or at least ready to be active and ready to be back at school? I know one day at a time especially with this little man/medical anomally!! Thanks again for all the support you have provided thus far!!! Guest guest
Just to let you know, my daughter had conductive hearing loss in both ears. It turned out that she had a c-toma in the left year but the right ear really did just have fluid in it. One tube and a bottle of ear drops later, she has regained all her hearing in the right ear. Of course the left ear is still messed up, but it possible that Brady has only one affected ear but has hearing loss in both. My daughter is 6. She had her most-recent surgery on a Tuesday, was out of bed playing on Thursday, was bored by Friday, and went to school the following Monday. However even now almost a month after surgery she still does have some discomfort in her inner ear. Just enough that she sometimes mentions it. Guest guest
I understood from my reading that babies DO BETTER fed with coconut milk instead of soy based formula. Babies are able to process medium chain fatty acids better than soy. Try using vco right out of the jar, rubbing it on might reduce stretch marks! Hope that helps you! Yerba Mate (for mental alertnesss and energy), Wo Long (the Chineese 'Slimming' tea) and Chamomile (to relax before bedtime). I use these teas everyday (3-4 cups of Wo Long)and I have lost 16.2 lbs in 10 days. Guest guest
Hi ... I know what you mean about getting frightened and wanting to be there for your kids. I'll tell you what I tell others. There is a risk with ANY surgery, some procedures have more risk than others. Banding is verrrry low risk in comparison. Now, obesity carries a HUGE risk and as time goes on you will likely gain more weight and that carries even more risk. So you can go for the low risk surgical procedure or high risk obesity, it's a choice. A dear friend of mine had Dr. A do her surgery simply because she owes it to her daughter to have a mother around as she grows up. If you didn't have concerns about ANY surgical procedure, that would make you seriously uninformed or just plain bizarre. ;o) We are supposed to be concerned if we have surgery. But again, you have to look at risk factors. As things stand today with obesity, you have major mega risk of all kinds of problems that will cut your life short. Or, you can go for the low risk surgery, look good, feel good, and your self confidence will increase a great deal as well. BTW, my friend has PCOS as well. I just saw her tonight and after 31 pounds and mega inches, she's looking damned good! I am soooo proud of her and her accomplishments. She's doing it and doing it well~ Good luck to you! It sounds like the changing of the way you eat is quit a challange I know no diet or change of life is easy for that matter. But I have wanted to have the chance to have this done for a long time but now that I do I dont understand why I am having these feelings of what if?is this normal???? Did everyone experiance this? I also have pcos and have struggled with my weight most of my life and that I would love to end my first thought every morning is either what am I going to eat today or Im still fat that felling of dread thanks
Guest guest
-you do have to get the elotin tea on line. no health stores even know what your taking about, they look at you funny with their head tilted.google it. i did, but i also found out that it is used for to reduce sugar. i don't have a sugar problem( as noted on blood work)so i chose not to order it.- - In , " takmoss32 " <takmoss32@...> wrote: > > Hey I am getting ready to order my hcg and am going to get is from the > anaboic-pharm does it come in powder form? Guest guest
I have discovered the same thing from my local health food store. E- tea is a brand name I think. Like you, I googled it and found that the woo long tea is the same thing. It seems they do more than just moderate blood sugar levels, they are also a healthy metobolic stimulant and decrease cravings/hunger feelings. I have been drinking Yerba Mate tea and the woo long tea for a while now, during phase 1, and they are a considerable aid. If you can afford it, find some and partake. Remember to hold true to the established " wheel " , trying to re-invent it will cost you a lot in broken spokes.
