Guest guest
Heidi, unless the big pharma puppets have even made the flu shot mandatory, for which parents can take out an exemption, I fail to understand why any person would voluntarily have toxins injected into his or her bloodstream, in particular since ethical (yes, there are still plenty of those around) researchers and physicians have been pointing out over and over again that flu vaccinations are totally useless and ineffective and in fact are causing the flu. Apart from thimerosal, there are all the other lovely adjuvants, e.g. aluminium, formaldehyde, anti-freeze, etc. that accumulate in the brain and compromise the immune system. http://www.newswithviews.com/Ciola/greg.htm http://www.organicconsumers.org/articles/article_3400.cfm Ingrid Blank -----Original Message-----From: no-forced-vaccination [mailto:no-forced-vaccination ]On Behalf Of elevatordance Sent: Montag, 7. Guest guest
i am not sure that you can get reliable information on this question. i have been hearing stories about doctors claiming their vaccine doses are mercury free but if they took the time to read the insert labels (those long sheets in minute print), mercury is still there. further, i am told that claims can be made of 'no mercury' if the amount is below a certain level. and we know that the flu vaccine has mercury in it as a 'preservative.' so i think the issue one of credibility about the spin that is put out. i also think that the concern needs to be vaccines, not just some of the adjuvants. the very idea of vaccines, themselves, is contrary to health. as i understand them, they are bits of foreign protein, grown on various cultures, injected into the blood stream in order to avoid several stages of the natural immune system which would most likely attack them as toxic matter and try to eject them from the body. the other aspect of vaccines is that they work by creating a chronic low grade form of the illness which creates a sensitivity in the body. this can result in the development of various allergies as well as weakening the immune system; ie, chronic ear and respiratory infections, antibiotics and resultant asthma. andrew wakefield, in england was professionally destroyed when all he did was raise the question about finding measles virus in the gut of autistic children. so, for me, the quesion is one of credibility and lack of 'science' that surrounds the vaccine drug pushing. Guest guest
Just so everyone is clear: I have no intention of getting a vaccine for me or anyone in my family. Unfortunately, there is no leverage regardiing the safety of vaccines themselves, believe me, I know all about the toxins in them and I don't believe they are safe. But the mainstream medical community and the politicians that run our state believe that they are. All I can do right now to fight this issue is to point out that we are injecting mercury into our 6 month olds which is a known neurotoxin. That is where this question is coming from. Guest guest
I am not aware of any injections you should be avoiding by being hypothyroid nne. Somebody else may know this. Luv - Sheila I had to see my GP this morning and asked him why when the guidelines for TSH were 0.05 to 5, I had to wait until my levels went over 10 before I was given a diagnosis. He said that it would have been that my T4 was normal, I said but if your TSH was considered 'normal' that they would not test for T4 or T3. He looked at the computer, probably checking to see what they had tested for and just said, I don't know. My question is, what exactly are the guidelines for diagnosing, is it that we have to have a problem with TSH, T4 & T3 or what, I am getting more and more confused with every day. Also, I need to have dental treatment, there is and will not be any mercury involved so no problems there but I am not sure about what we can and cannot have being hypot as I have heard that we cannot have a general anaesthetic (don't know why and cannot find anything on the net) so can we have the normal pain killing injections at the dentist - I have to have 4 teeth out as my front teeth are crowned and they have made the teeth either side rot, I cannot go to my son's wedding looking like that LOL. Thanks for any help, most appreciated. Luv nne No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG Free Edition. I have quite a severe reaction to adrenaline and you will know if you are the same. When I've had that injection in the past my heart rate increases, I feel dizzy, confused and faint. It was simply a case of telling the Dentist that I had this problem and she now has a note on my file that I mustn't be given that injection. There is an alternative that doesn't contain adrenaline. Hope this helps. Also, I think the reason your GP made you wait so long for a diagnosis is that they keep changing the ranges! Guest guest
Hi nne, My dentist says that I have to have a local anaesthetic without adrenaline - I think that is right, but certainly on these lines. Guest guest
That is one of the things we are fighting for - better education of doctors about thyroid. Putting signs and symptoms aside, it is pointless doing tests, having guidelines if doctors do not know how to interpret them properly. Lilian Basically it tells me that I was not diagnosed for no good reason but that they were following guideline of one sort but not of another (if that makes sense). Guest guest
I thought that if I had a high TSH and all the symptoms that I had, not least the sudden massive weight gain, that it would be a forgone conclusion that I had hypoT but obviously not with the lack of knowledge, now I wonder what the difference was in my T4 from 2000 and 2005 when I finally got diagnosed, I think I will have to ask him for copies so that I can see absolutely what they were going by. Luv nne That is one of the things we are fighting for - better education of doctors about thyroid.
Guest guest
Hi nne, I have had extensive dental treatment over my lifetime, much since I became hypo. My dentist, who is a friend ( we’re both bikers) says that despite proper cleaning my teeth are the second worst in the practice, breaking and decaying at the slightest opportunity. I take 2.5 mg prednisolone every other day along with my thyroid meds. I have no problems with the usual novocaine injections. Earlier this year I had a tooth extracted whilst under waking intravenous sedation. The specialist dentist who did this suggested that I double my pred dose on the day of the surgery. It was very successful- I have no memory of the procedure and it healed OK ( the drug used is of the same family as rohypnol). I have also had surgery on my foot ( 2 bones cut and realigned) again awake with a numbing injection ( I believe this is strychnine!) and did the same doubling of the dose on the day of surgery. Again no problems. Guest guest
Mike - a lot of pertinent questions - first, we'll highlight them for Dr. Furman, our medical advisor 1. I cannot comment on the MS. Perhaps someone else, or Dr. Furman, can. I have no idea how the two would interact. 2. We all know by now that early, or premature, treatment has little effect on the course of the disease. Your disease appears to have stabilized. Your counts are OK, and I understand you are not losing weight any longer. Do you have a lot of lymphadenopathy? Have you had a CT scan? That's one thing you do not mention. Doctors I know begin treatment when symptoms call for it. One theory which supports this approach is that new things are coming out every day, and the more untreated you are the more eligible you might be for some of them. 3. The odds that you'll NEVER need anything are, in my opinion, low. However, the odds that you can lead a relatively normal and long life are quite good. 4. Impossible to say. I held off as long as I could, 2-1/2 years. Others hold off for a decade. Be aware that you are playing with a disease which is sneaky, insidious, and totally unpredictable. What finally led me to TX was anemia. 5. Again, impossible to say. As I said, you might well live a normal life span. We have people on this list who have had the disease for decades. Docs will swamp you with what are known as Kaplan-Meier curves, where they'll show you statistics of survival against time, depending on a variety of different factors. These are statistics, nothing more. I HATE Kaplan-Meier curves, they serve only to make patients nuts. 6. A CBC at least every six months, if not more often. A physical exam to look for nodes, and a scan if many nodes are found through palpation. A self observation of fatigue, sweats, weight, etc. 7. No. I do not believe anyone would suggest a transplant to you, given the current circumstances. Allos do not work very well for CLL anyway. 8. No. Don't make yourself crazy. I take the liberty of speaking like this because I am also a very nervous and intense patient, a frequent pain in the a-s with my doctors. 9. Again, I cannot include the MS factor. TX is usually started with some combination of Fludarabine, Cytoxan, and Rituxan. This TX has shown itself to be very effective. I'm sure you'll get other responses and opinions. Everything is quiet now, except for occasional night sweats, although my first hemotologist/oncologist wanted to start me on chemo when the illness was first diagnosed, about one year after the symptoms had started, due to the nightsweats (which were more severe then) and about a 20 pound weight loss. I'm 55 now, and was discovered to have trisomy 12. My white, red, and platelet counts are presently normal. My current hemotologist/oncologist, Dr. Tallman at Northwestern, is a great doctor and a good man. However, I sometimes feel that he wants to shield me so that I don't become a nervous wreck. I do have a high strung kind of personality. Here are some questions I have: 1) Because I have multiple sclerosis, how would that affect my treatment if and when I need to start chemo? 2) Would it make any sense to start some sort of treatment, not chemo, before my disease gets more active? 3) What are the odds that I'll never need chemo and lead a relatively normal life? 4) My disease first manifested itself in October 2004, although I wasn't diagnosed until August 2005. What are the odds that I'll be needing treatment sooner rather than later? 5) From the start of chemo, how long does the average patient live, and how many bouts of chemo do you generally go through before the end? 6) If you were me, what tests and treatment would you insist on? 7) What's the most aggressive treatment that I could presently undergo, e.g., "mini-allo" stem cell transplant? (To Dr. Tallman: Do you have experience doing this procedure?) Would it make sense to pursue such treatment now when I'm healthy rather than wait for the disease to manifest itself? Of course, this gets back to how likely the disease will manifest itself, and given my age even if the treatment is successfulwould it meaningfully increase my longevity? Discuss... 8) Notwithstanding my current apparent health, should we redo a FISH test, as well as ckeck for my current CD 38 expression, and a possible ZAP-70 test? 9) If I have do undergo chemo (is "when" a better way to put it?), what drugs would I likely start me on (remember, I have M.S.)? Guest guest
The Rhogam shot is for the + or - part of the blood type. Because you are B- and your husband is O+, there is a chance you could have a child who is either... B-, B+, O-, O+. Its been a loooong time since I've read anything more about it though, so perhaps one of the other members can explain why its needed. Guest guest
I believe this depends on if you are a BB or a BO. Your husband is an O so he has two O's, and can only pass O's down. If you are a BO, you could pass down the O. That would give you an O child. I don't think the minus or plus makes a difference. My >husband is O+. > I'm sure you've already taken a gander at Sheri's pages and pages of info on Rhogam, but wanted to let you know that even if you were considering the rhogam shot, if ALL your previous pregnancies resulted in - babies, then there would be no need for the shot until after you deliver your first + baby. According to the way they used to teach/explain Rh- factor, it was the + baby in the mother with - blood that started up the reaction. This reaction would only affect future pregnancies. That being said, I would in NO way recommend the shot *at all*! I think it's a bunch of crap how they're pushing it on all - mothers, regardless of the father's blood type, AND they're pushing it while pregnant as well as afterwards. Over kill and $, if you ask me. In Europe, for the most part, they still do it the way it was done in the late 60's and 70's here in the US. I only wrote the first paragraph so you could have some piece of mind just in case you're still on the fence about the shot. I, personally, would stay a million miles away from that shot *at all costs*! Just my $.02, Bobbett
Guest guest
It is VERY possible for you to have a child that isn't B-. The way the blood typing works is simple. You have two genes that make your blood type and you get one from each parent you are either B0 or BB (likely BB if all your kids are and -- blood type. B is dominant over O so when they tell you your blood type they only say the B part same with + being dominant over -. When you get pregnant you pass along one of those genes to the child. Your husband then steps in and gives the other gene and since he is O+ then he is OO and either +- or ++ (since all your kids so far are B- then he has to be +-). The possiblities for your children's blood type are as follows BO or OO and -- or +- making their actual blood type either B+, B-, O+, or O-. That being said do not worry about the Rhogam thing. Do a little research on Rhogam and you will see that it really is not needed often during pregnancy because it only comes into play if your blood mixes with the child's. There is a greater chance during delivery, but it is still very low and at that point you have I beleive 72 hours to get the shot before it is too late. Also the blood mixing during delivery does not affect that chlid, but could affect any child there after if your blood mixes during pregnancy. My midwife insisted I get the Rhogam while pregnant the first time because I couldn't gurantee my DH was the father of my child! I had a terrible reaction and my son ended up being O- (I am O- too). I had to switch to a different doc with #2 due to insurance and she gladly did the test on my DH and simply made me sign a form saying I understood the risks and refused the shot after we found out my DH is O- too! Our children can only be O- so I don't have to worry about it. Good luck and do a little web research on blood types and Rhogam to reassure yourself. > > I am 11 weeks pregnant and decided not to get Rhogam this time around. > I do wonder however if I could even have a child that is anything other > than B-. Guest guest
Sherry, It does hurt after the surgery, considerably, but it's also so worth it. I was limping constantly and always in pain and without energy because it exhausted me before and now I am pain free. I mean occasionally I still get a little stiffness but I can walk for 10 hours (Disney World less than a year after surgery) and it's no big deal. My feet wear out before my knee now. It's really doable - the recovery I mean. It gets better each day and even at two months post-op you will find yourself walking like you haven't in years. > questions> > > > > I am suppose to have a knee replacement would like> topeople that have had thissherry>h__________________________________________________________Never> miss a thing.
