Guest guest
Hi Bee, I have been completely on your program for a little over two months. I recall you saying once before, to not treat yourself with food, but do treat yourself by buying yourself nice clothes or a day at the Spa. If I do go to the Spa and have a massage, can they use oil on me? I have a Candida rash all over my legs & little bit on my arms & back. Will the Therapist be too afraid to work on me? Should I mention it is not contagious? What do you think? Also is it ok to use, sauna, steam room & hot tub? I remember having a herbal wrap about a year ago & it put me in bed for 2 days. I guess it pulled all the toxins right out. I felt like death. Should we stay clear of this type of treatment till we are healthy? Thanks as always Bee, you are appreciated! Guest guest
Hi , I think it is okay to have a massage as long as you feel it's okay. If you are feeling overwhelmed with healing reactions, it might not be the best time to have a massage. As a former massage therapist myself, I would think that your massage therapist would know what candida is and that it's not contagious, but you might want to mention you have a rash when you book the appointment. You could bring your own oil - coconut oil or olive oil - for the therapist to use. It just might be helpful to have it in a bottle that the therapist can use, like a pump or a plastic squeeze bottle. The sauna, hot tub or steam room might also be too much for you, depending on where you are in your healing because, they, too, will mobilize toxins. And yes, herbal wraps will also draw out toxins and be quite overwhelming. Group Moderator > > Hi Bee, > > I have been completely on your program for a little over two months.
