Guest guest
>>>Maybe I should put off the flush for now? Maybe I should put away the milk thistle and digestive enzymes for now?..... I am so frustrated and confused......and hurting. My stomach does indeed feel swollen. I want to take charge and responsibility for my health, but I keep hitting brick walls.<<< Leah, I understand your frustration. We probably all do, we have all been there ) But you need to remember that it took your body a long time to get so clogged up that it wasn't functioning properly. Healing is going to take a long time to accomplish too. Take a gently, gently approach. Did you read my post a while ago about the diet the nutritionist put me on when I first discharged myself from hospital? Within a month I was feeling much better. I would leave the flushes for now. Get started on the gently, gently approach.Your immediate danger is over so now you have the time to do your research to work towards regaining your health. It isn't going to happen overnight. I'm not sure it is your stomach that is the problem, I think it is your liver - Of course I could be mistaken but I say that because I too thought the pain was my stomach then discovered I was mistaken. Now I recognise the pain and sure enough every time my Liver enzymes are elevated. Are you using castor oil packs and Heat packs? Have you started on a good probiotic for your bowel? Are you drinking plenty of plain water? Are you eating a bland diet? Have you checked out the 'Foods that kill' list on curezone? IMHO your first task is to get your bowel emptying 2 - 4 times per day. That will stop junk being reabsorbed through the ileum into your liver and give it a chance to start to heal. Milk Thistle is vital DO NOT stop taking that. Also get a copy of Dr. Cabot's book 'The Liver Cleansing Diet' I hope that helps ) Blessings Mama.
