If I were in this situation, and I wanted to get the " past " out of my system, I would approach it as follows: Day # 1 - dry brush 4 strokes. See what happens. Take Will's advice on remediation. Day # 2 - skip Days # 3 - 10 Dry brush 4 strokes/day every other day. See what happens. Take Will's advice on remediation. If this is too much, dry brush 1 stroke/day. Space out the brushing to once a week if need be. Day 11-14 rest and do nothing except your usual health building plan. Week 3 - if no symptoms, go the 6 strokes/ per session. Continue every other day. Week 4- if no symptoms, go the 8 strokes/ per session. Continue every other day. Week 5 - rest and do nothing except your usual health building plan. Continue. This is the gently, gently approach. As a wise massage therapist once told me, its not how FAST you do something, but how well you travel through the process. You said you have had indigestion for 30 years. If you slowly process the undigested food by-products stored in your body AND do not add to it by observing good health habits for the next 30 years, you will be doing well. Impatience is the problem we all are struggling with. Its the national disease of the USA. We want it NOW and that is really at the root of many of our ills if you stop and think it through -- fast food, too fast lifestyle, too much stress from over-working to buy our luxuries that we perceive as our necessities, unwillingness to rest, sit still and listen to our bodies, desire for a FAST cure rather than changing our lifestyle when ANY ill befalls us. The list is endless. I love the AA definition of insanity -- " doing the same thing and expecting different results. " We have to do it differently, do it consistently, and for those of us the most damaged, we have to do it VERY, VERY SLOWLY. Most people on this list are willing to embrace the road outlined in the paragraph above. The others drop by, read a little and then move on since they are looking for the quick fix. Those people are obvious. They are too impatient to mine the archives to see what wisdom is buried there, which is enormous. So, if I were in this situation, I would park the impatience, give up ONE of those two healing modalities, and do the other so slowly that I didnt rile up my body. Both massage and skin brushing are designed to detox your system. Some people have more delicate systems than others. I am one of those people and I speak to this issue of parking the impatience from experience. Good luck, (Atlanta), the OTHER

If there is an energetic block somewhere in your system, the unblocking of it is akin to a river dam that suddenly bursts open, allowing all the toxins to flood out. E.g. in a healing session aimed at helping to resolve a migraine, or a cold, clients are told that they may experience a worsening of symptoms before they actually get better. This is because an energy work session, while shortening the duration of an ailment, will oftentimes cause a quickening of symptoms already in progress. So a cold, or migraine 'in progress' will likely continue to reach peak intensity, but will clear out much, much faster. This may not resonate with you, so please disregard, if so (and hope it's not too far off topic), but it just came to mind, so just thought to pass it along. ) Blessing to you, n
Guest guest
Hi , This is good advice - starting VERY slowly and backing off if need be. Just to clarify - I wasn't doing both the dry skin brushing and massage together. I was doing dry skin brushing intermittedly over time and noticed that I would get the burping. I was doing massage just before my liver flushes and getting the burping. I have just noticed over time that those 2 things cause massive burping afterwards. I really don't do either very often due to the burping reaction. It's not an issue of being impatient, it's more a lack of knowing what's really going on to cause this reaction. Thanks for the suggestions, > -----Original Message----- > From: mackarmstr@... Guest guest
Hi, It certainly could be something like that. I've asked " Ask s " and will let the group know what he says. > -----Original Message----- > From: momazmat@...
