Hello,

My name is Freels, and I'm the owner/moderator of the

group. I'm introducing myself because there are dozens

of new members, and I purposely haven't made a post on the

listserv in quite awhile.

For those of you in Georgia, I encourage you to pay close attention to

this. Others too.

We went back to Dekalb County Superior court last November, a week or

two after the 2010 elections. It was a depressing experience. I felt

like I had to hunt down and drag our attorney into court for this. In

many ways he seemed to have lost interest, probably because our case

just seems to drag on forever without any resolution in sight.

But he called the other day, and he was more excited than I've heard

him in years. Years. The judge from the November hearing ruled in

Jimmy’s favor. She made her decision March 31, 2011, some four months

after our hearing. I didn't tell anybody about it except my wife.

I don't know if anyone remembers this or even cares, and I've

hesitated to post much detail about our son Jimmy’s

case because we've had a really difficult time, and I'm afraid if I

shared too much of our story it would be more of a discouragement

instead of an encouragement, and others would be too afraid to pursue

coverage for their own children.

Congratulation, . I've followed this for years now and I'm grateful

there is some relief in sight. What does this mean in the long run for

Jimmy and hbot?
