Guest guest
After I made the post announcing the most recent decision in Jimmy Freels v the Georgia Department of Community Health, I received a call from a hard-of-hearing Mom in Florida via an operator-assisted call. Unfortunately I wasn't able to retrieve the phone number as I've had difficulty with my phone lately, but I did want to post some information for that Mom. It's probably better for information like this to go out to the whole group anyway because you never know how someone else here can benefit and then they can in turn help you. There is a massive, massive class-action lawsuit taking place against Florida Medicaid in the Federal courts there. A number of press releases/articles about the progress of things can be found here http://www.bsfllp.com/news/in_the_news/000094 I encourage you to go and read those articles and then contact the law firm and explain in detail how you need help accessing HBOT for your child via Medicaid. I've contacted this firm before, but I'm unsure how much of a dent (if any) I made with them; however, if you personally contact them, I would not be surprised if they found your interest in FL Medicaid compliance with the EPSDT statute so compelling that they decided to help you. Do let us know what happens. Freels 2948 Windfield Circle Tucker, GA 30084-6714 770-491-6776 (phone) 404-725-4520 (cell) 815-366-7962 (fax) http://www.davidfreels.com mailto:david@...
