Guest guest
I'm going to have an endoscopy soon to see just how bad my GERD is and if there are any erosions. But in my opinion, you definitley sound " irritated " to me. You caould even possibly have gallbladder sludge, rahter than stones, that can cause a significant amout of pain. Hi, Edie: It is not at all unusual to have those GERD problems when you have a GB problem. As a matter of fact, that's how mine started out years ago. I didn't know it was my GB until I had a certain type of heartburn that I finally questioned, " Is it my gallbladder? Maybe I'm having gallbladder problems. " Also, even after that time I would sometimes have heartburn while having an attack. Don't know why, but the doctors didn't seem surprised, so I'm thinking that sometimes it's another symptom of GB problems too. Take care, Susie
Guest guest
--- I'm pretty new here myself and have had gallbladder problems as well as GERD problems. I too would go through phases where even water would make my stomach burn and be upset. I'm going to have an endoscopy soon to see just how bad my GERD is and if there are any erosions. But in my opinion, you definitley sound " irritated " to me. You caould even possibly have gallbladder sludge, rahter than stones, that can cause a significant amout of pain. Since I'm a newbie, there's not alot more I can add except that I hope you feel better really soon. Follow the advice here....I have gotten some wonderful tips that have helped me tremendously! Guest guest
It sure looks like a lot of us are in the SAME BOAT. Through genetic predispositon, dietary issues, exercise issues, emotional issues as well as other unknown factors we have all been slapped up the side of the head by the gods and told " HEL---LOW!!....THIS FOOLISHNESS CANNOT GO ON--- To continue as you are, you will be entering a world of pain " . Carl Jung said " THERE IS NO COMING TO CONSCIOUSNESS WITHOUT PAIN " . That is the only motivational quote that hangs above my desk. Of course! Would anybody lose weight, change their diet, exercise take vitamins, or reduce stress without having hit a wall? Of course not. At first I cursed my gallbladder for being weak, but then I came to realize that had it not been for that route of chronic disease made visible, what else would it have been? Would I rather be awakened by Cancer? Heart Attack? Diabetes? Asthma? Car crash? I don't think so. Compared to other messages from the gods, I figure I have it pretty good. I will be " NORMAL " if I respond accordingly! So, as long as I don't have the surgery, I figure I have this great " policeman " within by body gently (and sometimes not so gently) nudging me to stay on track, lose the weight, eat right, exercise, take my vitamins and supplements, and deal with my stress. I actually feel sorry for the people who get surgery because it's very likely that they will get a false sense of security and then have to hit the next wall of awakening that is sure to come down the road. For those people just coming aware of this " opportunity to grow " I would encourage a strict but balanced plan. Don't flush for the first 6 months but spend that time fasting, losing weight, exercising, changing your diet, drinking more liquids and finding a stress management cure. Cover your potential risk by chugging apple juice every day, taking dissolving herbs, taking vitamins and carry your Epson Salts with you wherever you go (first aid kit). At the first sign of symptoms, stop eating for a while and drink apple juice. When the staggering fear comes, as it will, that is the time to take your Rescue Remedy, BREATHE, PRAY, and PLAN TO WIN. Best wishes to all on this path, Will in Minneapolis
Guest guest
I hope this attitude serves you well an that you are healthy for the remainder of your life but let me say this you sound like someone who has not had the worst gall bladder attack.lol I say this because I had the same attitude for over a year and the attacks kept getting worse and worse. Finally when people witness me having one of these attacks they said are you crazy you know what you could be doing to your health by not getting this taken care of? They were right the surgeon said if I had waited any longer it could have burst. There is nothing wrong with eating right and trying to maintain your health but there is no sense in living in agony either and possibly endangering one's life. ----- Original Message ----- From: " Will Winter " <holistic@...> <gallstones > Sent: Tuesday, April 27, 2004 12:07 PM Subject: Re: Galbladder > It sure looks like a lot of us are in the SAME BOAT.
