I thought this had been added to House Armed Services Bill HR 5136:

Request for Appointment to Discuss HR4568, the " TBI Treatment Act, " | HBOT.com

Trying to find out what’s happened with legislative bills is absolutely

maddening - especially as none of the tracking sites seem to keep track of when

bills are merged, reintroduced, change number, etc. Our tax dollars at work I

suppose.. (“And the sausage making goes on..”)

Whenever I hear about the Republicans talking about how Obama is going to

balloon the debt (he will I’m sure), and of course not talking about brain

injury, LDN for MS (think an open-label 20,000 person trial.. Cross-over if

they insist on a RCT design..), and other things that won’t even get brought up,

much less seriously considered.. I want to throw something at the television.

And I thought because of TBI Treatment Act, in 5 years we might actually have

the data to bludgeon Congress into doing something.. <shakes head>

They had a story tonight about a Japanese mother who kidnapped her daughter,

and implied that she left her American husband because he had been brain injured

in Iraq.. I just thought, “for God’s sake, why didn’t she take him back to

Japan, where they might actually *use* hyperbarics?” (what is the Japanese

indications list anyway?)

Jim,

I understand your frustration about trying to find information about

legislation. Usually the answer isn't good anyway. Sigh.

I ditto your question and would love to know what is on the list of

indication for hbot in Japan---or any other country for that matter. I

think I've heard from that the list is quite liberal in the

UK---is that right????
