Guest guest
Well, I thought I'd have to wait a few days, but the radiologist took one look at my ultrasound and sent the report to my doc who phoned me right away. The exact words used were, you have a " gallbladder FULL of stones of various sizes and need to consult a surgeon right away " . Yep, thought that's what it looked like....the thing looked full to me too. Good thing is my liver, pancreas and common bile duct looked normal in size so nothing alarming there. I'm scheduled to see the surgeon the 6th (I have to cancel my endoscopy, awwww darn it all...tee hee). I should know more then. But it looks like I'm taking the wimps way out.....surgery. I really don't think I can take another day of being sick and not being able to eat my faborite things on a rare occasion. I have my kiddos to think about, and my son, who was terminally ill till he was 9 (he's now 17) He hates seeing me in pain and it distresses him so much. I don't want to keep wasting away like this! Thanks to everyone who has been so supportive.....and I'll look forward to sharing my coming days of fear, terror, anxiety and stress....LOL! I'll let you know more when I know more!
