Guest guest
Will and all, I went to see an endocrinologist today. Of course, he is wanting to get me scheduled for gallbladder surgery. I told him I do NOT want to have gallbladder surgery but he just waved his hand to poo poo that crazy idea away. He says I have the small " very dangerous " stones. I asked him if they were small enough to pass thru duct and he said yes but that is how a person " runs into very very bad trouble as they can get stuck " . Then he (unnervingly to me) smiled a huge smile and said " then you end up with emergency surgery " and threw his hands up in the air saying " You can die! " I asked him about the " stones " -what consistency, can they be softened to pass easier, etc. He said " they are STONES like a Rock!!!. Nothing can soften them " . It was very obvious that he thought I was of very low IQ. He shed absolutely no light on what has happened to me. Says may be pancreatitis--maybe not. The longer the man talked the less I was impressed with him. He mumbled and shuffled papers. I was concerned he would lose my copies of lab results, etc. I don't trust a doctor with so much clutter and dead flies in his overhead lights. Many, many of them. Any thoughts?
