Guest guest
respected michaelO your these lines written in reply to my message are REALLY ENCOURAGING FOR ME. before your message i was feeling helpless, hopeless and depress and was trying myself for surgery but your encouraging and helpful words full me with new strength to do more flush and stick to diet. regards - alok kumar O <beeline@...> wrote: A person who has a lot of stones in thier Gallbladder & liver ...will flush out those stones near the entrance of the Gallbladder with each flush ....but then all those stones up the back of the G.Bladder will then simply move foward (too the front of the que as the case here may be)... & they then await thier turn for the next flush.... I would not be too concerned if I was you at this stage ...just be prepared to stick to a strict diet for the next whatever number of months & keep flushing once every 2/3 or 4 weeks etc (about once every 4 weeks is my maximum frequency i would consider if I had bad Gallstones)... & give this method a chance to do its job.... Guest guest
Good stuff Alok...the surgeon will always be there ...I would not be rushing into his clutches until I had thoroughly exhausted all other possible avenues first .... Our Gallbladder was not given to us as a spare part to be discarded at the first signs of discomfort ....... Below is a quote from Doctor Cabot's web page.... " Surgeons are often very keen to remove the gall bladder as it is believed that it 'serves no purpose' This is very untrue. The process of bile production is an 'expensive' biochemical process. The body has developed the gall bladder to store bile that has been recovered from the bowel to be recycled - thus saving the liver from having to produce new batches. Therefore, the gall bladder is vitally important as it takes a lot of workload off the liver. " end quote So you see that a person who has a Gallbladder full of stones ...is going to be most likely already have an overburdened ..or overextended liver .....then the surgeon convinces that patient too remove this organ (the organ that is in a position to help remove some of the regular workload from your overburdoned & probably toxic liver).... merely because it has developed gallstones. Obviously without a gallbladder your liver is going to become increasingly overburdoned & the conditions that set your liver up in the first place to produce Gallstones (or cholesterol etc stones)...will be even more prevalent than before because your poor liver is even more overworked without a Gallbladder than it was when it had one. The above assumes there are no complications involved with the gallbladder surgery, which can make the picture much worse than just the added problem of a more overburdoned liver...fwiw ----- Original Message ----- From: Alok Kumar gallstones Sent: Monday, January 10, 2005 5:11 PM Subject: Re: 3rd gall bladder flush - stones are as it is respected michaelO your these lines written in reply to my message are REALLY ENCOURAGING FOR ME. before your message i was feeling helpless, hopeless and depress and was trying myself for surgery but your encouraging and helpful words full me with new strength to do more flush and stick to diet. regards - alok kumar O <beeline@...> wrote: A person who has a lot of stones in thier Gallbladder & liver ...will flush out those stones near the entrance of the Gallbladder with each flush ....but then all those stones up the back of the G.Bladder will then simply move foward (too the front of the que as the case here may be)... & they then await thier turn for the next flush.... Guest guest
The Color of stones is known to vary depending on how long they have been in gallbladder liver & depending on thier point of origination ..Gallbladder or liver .......those stones from further back could very well differ in color since they have been produced more recently than those that were up the front (those in first flush)... However I am not an authority on " color of Gallstones " ...but I do recall reading info on this from this list previously..maybe some other members more well versed in this area could chime in My original advice hasnt changed at this stage though ,...regarding what I would do now if I was in your position ..for what it is worth . Good luck & Good health with whatever course of action you elect too follow ----- Original Message ----- From: Alok Kumar beeline@... " sir i dont think that my gall bladder has 250 stones in it as in my 3 flushes i expelled near about 250 stones. and one thing is that at my first flush i expelled dark green colour objects and in second and third the stones were light green in colour - so according to your statement the stones which were in the back portion will move forward to expell but i expelled light green colour stones inspite of dark green colour. so if the stones come forward which were in the back portion should be dark green in colour. but they are light green in colour, so i dont know why it happens. regards - alok kumar
