as far as I am aware Splenda is " made from sugar, so it tastes like

sugar " ( that is the catch phrase here anyway :) )

Is shouldnt contauin artifical sweetners, and as far as I am aware is

also suitable for diabetics........

I have Splenda. It has a slight off taste. It takes getting used to.I used it

when I was on a low carb diet.

Hi I have heard about not giving our kids anything containing

Aspartame, but does anyone have information on the sweetener Slenda?

It is supposed to be a great product, but I am not sure on how save

it would be for our little ones? thanks

Tina,

It could of been sweetened with Stevia, a natural sweetener that comes

from the Stetvia plant. We use it all the time now, get the clear liquid though

as the powder doesn't dissolve very well .

No, it wassn't Stevia. I seem to remember it began

with an " h " .

I know Sorbitol? I believe it is, that is in some

" sugar free " candies, etc., has a laxative effect if

too much is taken. Maybe that's it.
