Guest guest
Is there a way for the group moderator to reduce the number of lines in the signature line of each message? Including the lines that groups adds, there are about 30 lines of links and messages, and even several lines mentioning either how to subscribe or unsubscribe. <pcfw@...> wrote: > Why are we having these endless messages full of > copies of old messages, plus all those Curzone lines, > over and over. I support the call to members to snip messages, leaving only portions to aid continuity of the thread. However, I am pessimistic that this will solve the problem of having to scroll thro' piles of old messages as the same call had been made at numerous other groups, but there are still people who click on the send button without bothering to snip. It will be interesting to see if this call make any difference with this group. __________________________________________________

I use most of those links all the time. It would be good to be able to ditch the lines I agree but unfortunately that's the price you pay for having a free group. As for the others it's just a pity more posters don't read them, it would save an awful lot of unnecessary posting. Blessings Mama
