Guest guest
Hi All! Thank you for replies to previous e-mails ) wrote, >>>A chiropractor suggested I use malic acid to prepare for a flush years ago, and I tried it, but had burning or heartburn from the acid and upset stomach..happened to quickly to be related to stimulation of the Gallbladder. I had to stop taking it, and just went back to apples and apple juice, malic acid in it's more natural state. Yes, it's high in sugar, but using it for a relatively short period of time to prepare for a flush works best for me. I take probiotics too, as the high sugars tend to feed the " bad " bacteria in the gut.<<< I'm striving to achieve intake of the supplements I am currently taking through real food so eating Organic Apples in their natural state, as opposed to malic acid, appeals to me but the high sugar intake bothers me. I wonder if this could be counteracted by taking a higher dosage of probiotics with the apple juice? I imagine that, like anything, you can take too many probiotics but does anyone know what that level might be? Is there any other way to control sugar? Chromate maybe? Any thoughts? Probiotics are to reintroduce the proper flora and fauna of the gut after a disruption in the balance. Their benefit is in a living colony. It does not take a lot to do it, the main issue then becomes creating the proper environment for their survival and happy sex life, not taking more orally. Taking large quantities will have no ill effect it will just not have any real benefit either. You want to kill the bad guys (which will kill the good guys too), reintroduce good guys, and build an environment that is conducive to the good guys and hopefully inhospitable to the bad guys. Most of these organisms compete for the same food supply, therefore if you can build a colony of mostly probiotics the negative organisms wont be able to get through the chow line because of shear no. balance. FOS (fructo oligo saccarides) is great food for acidophilus and bifidus, the candida cannot break it down, and the metabolic waste product from its digestion by the acidophilus is toxic to the candida! > > > > Is there any other way to control sugar? For those with blood sugar disregulation; gurmar, fenugreek, bitter melon, ginseng, vanadium (vanadyl sulfate) and as you mentioned chromium, are all possibly helpful. -Dave >
