Subject: Re: ultrasound after flush ?

When I had my first gallbladder attack, I had x-rays done at the

hospital and an ultrasound. Once my doctor saw the results, I was

told that I should have the gallbladder removed. I questioned this

and was told that the gallbladder had alot of stones and the dangers

if I did not proceed with the surgery. I learned about the

liver/gallbladder cleansing. I decided to proceed with the cleansing,

even though I was skeptical. On my first cleansing, I expelled alot

of what appeared to be stones. I decided to test this, as I would

imagine most of us have done or will do. I started eating just about

anything and to my surprise, was not getting any attacks, no pains!.

Great! I thought! A few months later, I started to have the attacks

again and decided to proceed with another cleansing. I did, this

time, there were not alot of stones expelled. I watched my diet, no

saturated fats, started taking vitamin C, lecithin, gallbladder/liver

vitamins and milk thistle. I lost alot of weight, not that I was

really over weight, but I feel great!

I started to get more attacks eventhough I was eating right, but this

time the attacks were more concentrated in the center of my chest. I

dediced to visit my doctor again. I told my doctor about the liver

cleansings that I had done. My doctor was not too happy about this

and told me that I should be careful about this. My doctor told me

that many people have their gallbladders removed eventhough they have

no stones?? Asked about this and how can this be? My doctor informed

me that once the gallbladder is weak (muscle)and does not have the

muscle strength or it becomes infected because of the lodging of

stones. What will happen is that you will keep getting the pains and

end up having the GB surgically removed.

The doctor is speaking from the viewpoint of the average patient. The

person who does not do the liver/gallbladder work or change their diet and

lifestyle. The organ is ill and since little is done to " heal " the

situation their problems persist, making having their gallbladder removed a

wise choice considering their lack of resolve.

Ok! I decided to have another ultrasound to compare the first with

this the new one. I had ultrasound done and the gallbladder shows

basically the same amount of stones as the first ultrasound that I

had done the first time. I feel as I did not accomplish much with the

removal of the stones. I am leaning towards having the gallbladder

removed and rid of these pains. I was planning on doing the third

cleansing, but I am not sure what this will accomplish.

Have " faith " . Continue, continue, continue. I went to the archives for the

first time today and was truly amazed and pleased to see the no. of flushes

some people have performed in the spirit of retaining an important piece of

their anatomy. It took you decades to get your gallbladder (and liver) in a

ringer, it may take awhile to dig it out. Not just flushes but nurturing

supportive supplementation and continued lifestyle tuning. It is not only

about detox but about repair also. The changes and course you describe

having taken up until now sounds great, don't waver from the path. You may

have flushed stones from the gallbladder only to have more drop from the

liver, or the stones you past the first time may have come straight from the

liver. A dozen flushes may not be enough.

I am trying to be positive about this, but how can this be? This

leads to the question- " How many times does one have to do the liver

cleanse? "

Different for each individual and for each situation.

or are those " really " stones that we are expelling?

Who cares? You are feeling better even though you still experience pain.

What matters is that you are headed in the right direction. Continue,

continue, continue... much besides your gallbladder is at stake. Always, in

all ways, -Dave
