Guest guest
I have spoken to several people about dizziness and BPPV in the last week or so. Forgive me for forgetting everyones' names. Just to reply to you all that have the same troubles and answered my posts, I really appreciate it. I have been dizzy for a long time now. Starting out with it being every once in a while to now a 24/7 thing. At first they thought it might be anxiety. Then diabetes. Then seizures, which I see a neurologist for. She says the tests do show some mild odd electrical charges in the left temporal lobe that could be partial seizures but seems to think that this is not the problem because I have dizziness all the time. She said with seizures , they would come and go and not be all the time. I went in for vestibular testing and the neurologist says that the test shows dizziness due to nystagmus( jumping of the eyes) and they think I have BPPV, that they are pretty sure it is noy my brain causing this problem. My hearing is fine except for the occasional full feeling that I get sometimes. So I go to the ENT doctors and they say that it is definitely not my ears that it must be neurological. So there I was again back at square one. I called the neuro and told her what the ENT doctor said. I ended up going back to the ENT doctor and now they say they think that I have BPPV, I am doing vestibular therapy for the second time. Epley maneuver, etc. I feel worse now than I did before I started therapy. He hasn't given me any meds because he says they won't work for this problem, I can't even get in the car and ride to the end of the road without getting sick. much less drive. I fell down a flight of stairs and tore the ligaments in both ankles. I still don't have a diagnosis for the dizziness that has put my life at a standstill. I have always been an active person. Now some days I do good to get out of bed. I do have Sjogren's Syndrome which explains a lot of the fatigue but not the dizziness according to the doctors. Sometimes they act as if I am exaggerating. I have had several tests repeated over and over: mri's, cat scans. x-rays, tons of blood work, Everything came back normal. So for all of you here that have shared your stories I really appreciate it and hope you continue to do so. You have given me hope. And for those of you that have found something to help this problem, no matter what it is, please let me know. I did see some posts from some people that were having this same problem but they were undiagnosed as I am. Any info is greatly appreciated even if it something you think is not important to you, it may be important to us. Sorry so long!!!! THANKS!!!!!!!Tammy in MS
Guest guest
Dizzyness. My son was really dizzy for 6 years. All the time. He has temporal lobe seizures. I would not rule out that possibility. Have you tried a really good cleanse and fast for a bit? Has helped him along with Tahitian Noni Juice.
