A certain type of good coffee *maybe* but certainly not ordinary run of the mill supermarket brand. I used to drink coffee heavily and my Mother has been a heavy coffee drinker since early teens and had her gallbladder removed at 26. To this day she suffers pain with the same associated rise in liver enzymes (I believe that all along her symptoms have been, and remain to be, liver stones) Yet, she drinks enough coffee to sink a battleship, nowadays it's organic coffee though which is a step in the right direction I suppose.
