Guest guest
It's refreshing to see someone say this Arnold. You've hit points I try to make. A few supplements are ok, very limited, very specific - best evaluated after actual permanent healing has taken place via a whole-person healing modality such as TCM, Homeopathy or Acupuncture. If the system is broken at the root that has to be healed first, along with absorption inability which is usually also present. Over use of man-made vitamins, minerals, extracts, etc. are a band-aid and actually cause more damage. (There a few exception such as C, and D within reason). By never resolving the underlying cause for illness and only treating the body and mind separately, symptomatically, in parts like in an auto shop, it is causing suppression which is dangerous. It may look like progress is getting done here and there but actually is pushing things around and pushing the imbalances deeper. On supplementation...It's a fundamental law nutrients are meant to be gained by food, including whole-food nutritional product supplements when done correctly (I have one good source). All others A. only absorb up to about 9 percent. B. the remaining 91+ percent has to be processed and eliminated, taxing the system even further, especially harmful for already weakened individuals and causes more side affects. C. are partial nutrient combinations; all nutrient elements work in connection to others, sometimes dozens, and science will never duplicate that balance held in food. Guest guest
Dear Liz, I am curious. What is your one good source of whole-food nutritional product supplements? I get very confused about these things, and try to choose carefully for my daughter. It's sort of tough because she is on the ketogenic diet and needs some supplementation. I have to research constantly because our neurologist does not think outside of the box and I don't have access to a good natural health care provider. I would love to limit her supplements, but am not sure how. We try to do as many high quality natural foods as her diet will allow, and always do 2 cups of raw spinach a day as well. Any help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dorene
