Guest guest
> Hi , I was prescribed by my CFIDS specialist when my BP read 78/59 in her office, to begin drinking a gallon of water if I could, and use extra salt. The NMH was so bad at the time. Who can go wrong drinking tons of water for flushing and cleaning the body. However, the extra salt intake can be ill-advised, particularly if there is no blood pressure dysregulation problem. I still drink as much water as possible and use a hearty portion of salt on food, but I also take the tiniest little chunk (maybe a quarter) of a a 2.5 mg. of proamatine 3 times daily when my NMH is flaring up. Just my experience. > I am in the process of reading a book " Your Body's Many Cries for > Water " (by F. Batmanghelidj, M.D.). Guest guest
I would like to share my experiences on drinking water and M.E. My Blood pressure is very low and with high water intake I blow up like a balloon. The water does not come out the other end. My stomach, ankles and face swell up particularly. This is regardless to the addition of salt. Regards, Annette __________________________________________________

Guest guest
I am going to share with you the part about water in my new E-book that is coming outin a couple of weeksI Conquered MS and My Son's Epilepsy : P.S. It was a cheaters way of sharing the Power Of Water and alot easier for me to do this then type it out! Enjoy, a couple of these paragraphs. Devin¢s Story During my fast, however, another crisis happened. Right in the middle of the fast, I commented to my husband that, if we didn't stop letting our son eat junk food and sugar, bad things would start happening to him. I didn't want him to follow down the same path that I had. I had observed that he had the same bumps on his arms that I had had, and which went away when I went on my first non-intentional fast. I felt he had inherited a genetic curse from me. What really happened that woke us up, however, was worse than bumps. He had gotten hit twice in the head with a baseball and shortly after that, within days, he started having seizures. It was summertime and his day-care center made trips out to a farm, which he usually loved. I got a call from the daycare person that something was wrong with Devin. They couldn¢t figure out what was going on--he was a little limp and he was saying things that didn't make sense. So I asked them to put him on the phone. I asked him what the matter was, and he answered me in gibberish, like he was drunk. The daycare worker announced that they were taking him to the hospital. I was with a client at the time, said I had to leave, drove as fast as I could to be there, and on the way called my husband to meet them there---he was closer than I was. Greg got there just as Devin arrived, and he pulled him out of the van, stiff and staring into space. This was a complete shock: we had had a totally functioning normal child and now, dramatically, everything had changed. By the time I got to the ER, he was on a bed, with everyone standing around him, crying because he was not making sense, still staring into space, his hands formed into fists and his body rigid. I thought to myself, " Gosh , with everything YOU'VE read, what you can do? " And it came to me: the bottom line with any illness is dehydration of the body, so I thought to start with water. I went and asked one of the nurses for a little cup so I could give him some, and she said, " No. " They said he didn't need it because he would throw it up. I felt the anger rise up in me; I hadn't asked them if I could give him chocolate malt from Dairy Queen or anything---just water! When they saw me getting angrier by the second, they relented and finally gave me a cup. I filled it with maybe a scant ounce of water ---after all, he wasn't functioning and it wasn't as though he could have gulped it down. So I got it to go down his throat. He drank that and, with just that little bit of water, he said a word, a normal word that wasn't jumbled up. So I went and got two more ounces of water and fed that to him, saying, " Devin, you are going to drink this and I'm going to help you. " I fed it to him and he actually put his little eight-year-old hand on that cup, took it from me and crushed it up. He put it back down and said a couple more words, and I remember thinking, " Oh God, its working! This is unbelievable! " (Note: Everybody, remember the power of water and to feed your body water!) After that, they were prepping him to go do a CT scan, so my husband carried him to the X-ray room and he did throw up all over the place. After that, he was brought back to a different ER bed and they set up an IV for him. I thought,Whoa, what are you giving him? They told me it was a saline solution, which was fine: water and salt. And I'll tell you right now: the moment that went into his veins, he uttered the first normal sentence he'd said since this whole episode began. And that's the power of water. Guest guest
Hello everyone, Yes, I have also read the book, " Your body's many cries for water " and I was also fascinated by it. I think he has tried for years to get this across to the public and to the health industry but the pharmaceutical industry is trying to keep him quiet. They don't want anyone to be healthy! His book, and many of the conferences I have been to, have me completely fascinated. I have epilepsy and have been trying to get rid of it for years, naturally. Good water IS one of the helpers, especially with young kids. For myself, water is not solely the helper. A lot of seizures, as I have learned, come from within and our emotional well being and control takes some learning. BUT, that is a whole other topic. What you all want to know more about is water and the benefits. Here it is. I went to a conference in Brooklyn, NY with a room FULL of people giving their well being, all from water. That is Kangen water. There were people talking about the before and afters....everything from brain tumors, lupus, parkinson's, arthritis, etc....all gone from drinking this water. Instead of having me explain it to you and try to sell you, I can send you a video on it and you can see the demonstration. The video does not tell you all the sucess stories, of course. Again, the pharmaceutical industry would take over. But, trust me when I tell you, I have heard some GREAT success stories! Another man I heard from, he had been in stage 4 of cancer and was told there was nothing else that could be done. He started drinking this water and he is now alive and kicking! Cancer cannot live in such a high ph environment in the body! And neither can many other illnesses. Ok....no more. If anyone wants to know more or get the dvd's let me know. napsac2@.... Guest guest
Here's a copy of an email I usually send to people about the watercure recipe. Basically it's called the water cure recipe. Drink 1/2 your bodyweight in ounces of water per day.So if you weigh 200 lbs drink 100 ounces of water per day. You MUST add 1/4 teaspoonful of SEA SALT per liter of water. It is important to use SEA salt and not table salt. It originated by the Dr at this site. He had used the technique to treat patients while a prisoner in Iran in 1979.http://www.watercure.com/ A more updated site with testimonials, videos and more detailed information is here.People have cured cancer, depression, diabetes, lost weight and cured a host of diseases and illnesses.Unlike many scams out there they aren't selling you a magic pill or potion to cure you.http://www.watercure2.org/ For those who are worried about sea salt and high blood pressure read herehttp://www.celticseasalt.com/Salt_Your_Way_To_Health_W68C2.cfm I use celtic sea salt which has about 80+ minerals. (Table salt has 2).http://www.celticseasalt.com/ Water cure Just wondering. I have high blood pressure and have to watch my salt intake. So do they say it is safe for people with high blood pressure to add sea salt to the water?thanks Judy
Guest guest
I never use "table" salt. My husband does at table but I don't like the taste of it. I cook exclusively with kosher salt and I have loads of different finishing salts. Most od the time it's just fleur de sel or sel gris. Then for certain I adore smoked sea salt but it's strongly smoked so if you buy any taste it before you use it. I just love the various salts, they add such wonderful flavors with so little effort.Terry Sent from my iPadOn Oct 18, 2010, at 1:07 PM, Berry <berrywell@...> wrote: Judy, I would not presume to give you medical advice, but the whole salt/BP thing is largely over hyped. If you give your body the RIGHT salt, it will assimilate it properly. Giving it iodized table salt (the type of iodine in table salt is NOT the type the body needs, by the way) is what can cause the body to hold on to water, thus rising blood pressure. My "suggestion" would be to try the water cure with the sea salt (get the good stuff) and monitor your BP more closely than usual. I have a strong hunch you will see an improvement, not a decline. From: judyb1951 <judyb1951@...>Subject: Water cure Date: Monday, October 18, 2010, 12:51 PM Just wondering. Guest guest
Yes Judy it is good for people with high blood pressure - but I think you would feel much more comfortable understanding the why and hows of adding UNREFINED Salt back into your diet if you picked up the book, "Salt Your Way To Health". Guest guest
Good idea. I haven't tried it in carrot soup but I did just use a sprinkle in my Cauliflower Soup and it was terrific.  Terry Pogue  My Foodie Photos http://www.flickr.com/photos/terrypogue/collections/ On Oct 18, 2010, at 2:07 PM, wrote: > > > Oh, I find that smoked Maldon's is wonderful in that carrot soup recipe that was recently posted. > > > > [V itamixEnthusiasts] Water cure >> >> Date: Monday, October 18, 2010, 12:51 PM >> >> >> Just wondering.
