Guest guest
Hi , In your attempt to find " the " magic bullet to treat your daughters epilepsy, you have fallen into the " medication trap " of searching for the key to the problem--as if it were a lock that had to be matched. I do not blame you for thinking this way. In truth I felt the same way 40 years ago, when the seeming power of the medical model, in which " scientific research " and matching diligence in successfully experimenting with triturating the dosage in the correct way will hold the optimal chance to find a cure. But reality crept in. The science of modern medicine is not all that clear on how these drugs or nutrients for that matter work. To be kind, every person is different and doctors, just like the rest of us use trial and error more often than not. How often have you heard after a drug does not work, " why don't we try this one..... " Your daughter's body was not designed to get its B vitamins from pills--And B12 not from injection. She was designed to get her nutrients from food sources. Please see my article on food sources of the B Complex---and trace minerals in our archives. Message #14913.
