Guest guest
Arshiya: Look into Neurofeedback. They believe that when you hit your head it is like hitting a bucket of water. Each part of the brain has a different frequency. It puts the brain frequencies out of whack and it sometimes causes seizures. Neurofeedback reestablishes the correct frequencies. My sister in law stopped her seizures with only 10 sessions. That does not mean that it is always that easy. There could be other things going on but if you are associating it with the head injury this could be a good start. I doubt your neuro will recommend this. Few people know about this. good luck! ________________________________ From: arshiya4 <arshiya4@...> Sent: Thu, April 14, 2011 8:14:43 AM Subject: [ ] seizures related to head injuries ?? Guest guest
A good chiropratrist might also be able to help with any misaligment caused by the injuries. i had been told by a chiropratist that ome misaligments can trigger seizures. Guest guest
mine seem to be connected to a head injury i sustained when i got hit by a car .... but there was a ten year gap between the accident and my first seizure that no one has been able to explain > > Hi everyone, > I was just wondering whether anyone has experienced an episode of seizure after a hit or a knock to the head.. > Well my daughter had banged her head yesterday while playing and an hour later she had a seizure. She experienced the same pattern in December as well . > Ill surely be mentioning to the neuro when I see him next but just wanted to know if anyone also has the same experience. > > Thanx. > > Arshiya >
