I love CONCISE documents that pack a lot of wisdom into a little space. > http://www.htnetwork.org/articles/article/1412758/14165.htm > In all traditional cultures, some animal products are eaten raw. > Primitive and traditional diets have a high food-enzyme content > from raw dairy products, raw meat and fish; raw honey; Speaking of raw, I've been researching (and just started experimenting with myself, as of three days ago) this new ultra-paleo style of eating, emphasizing raw animal foods. Yes, raw meat. And eggs. I am getting some interesting results, already. (Or so I think. Might be circumstantial or psychological; the coming weeks will tell.) There's a whole subculture that has developed around it, it seems, and many adherents, some with fantastic success stories. One of the most remarkable things is the assertion that " [raw] animal proteins and animal fats serve to rather strongly accelerate some healing processes and especially many cleansing processes. " CLEANSING?! That strikes me as bizarre in the extreme, but I'm open-minded enough (or nutty enough) to consider it. more info, see: http://www.rawpaleodiet.org/ http://www.rawpaleodiet.org/rvaf-overview.html http://www.rawpaleodiet.org/raw-dairy-1.html http://www.rawpaleodiet.org/cleansing-crises-1.html http://www.rawpaleodiet.org/rvaf-8-month-physical-1.html http://www.rawpaleodiet.org/basics-getting-started-1.html http://www.rawpaleodiet.org/healing-and-cleansing-fatigue-1.html http://www.primaldiet.com/ http://www.buildfreedom.com/rawmain.htm http://www.karlloren.com/aajonus/index.htm http://www.karlloren.com/diet/p80.htm http://www.karlloren.com/Diabetes/p73.htm http://www.karlloren.com/Diabetes/p74.htm live-food Date: 9 Nov 2004 03:07:12 -0000 From: live-food Moderator <live-food-owner > aelewis@... Subject: File - New Subscriber Message - Welcome! There are many dozens of raw foods diets which include raw animal foods; these diets also are often referred to by the broad terms RAF (raw animal foods), RVAF (raw vegetation and animal foods), or RPD (raw Paleolithic diet.) Some of these dietary systems are: the Primal Diet espoused by Aajonus Vonderplanitz,Instincto, Anopsology, Pangaian diet, Traditional Diet/Weston Price Diet (partially raw), Body Ecology Diet, Caveman Diet, Natural Hygiene, Vitarianism, Paradisian Essene Diet, Essene Diet, Essene Diet of Jesus, Eco-Eating, Body Electronics diet, the Gerson Diet and more. You will become acquainted with advocates and authors such as Aajonus Vonderplanitz, ny Lovewisdom, Wai Genriiu, Tilden, Schmid, Vilhjalmur Steffanson, Guy-Claude Burger, Goodheart, Paavo Airola, Sapoty , Ray, Edmond Bordeaux Szekely, Sally Fallon, Weston Price, Donna Gates, Kelley, Hilarion, Master Harpo, Arnold DeVries, Ray and Walter Last. A natural healing system called Body Electronics uses an RAF/RVAF diet as one of four central pillars of the system. Some versions of Gerson Therapy do the same. These diets all usually include raw plant products, drinking copious quantities of raw vegetable juices, and eating some raw animal products, which may include raw meat, raw fish, raw eggs, or raw dairy products. _____________________________________________________________________
