Congressional Briefing on Autism and Vaccines

Please click on the Take Action link to send an email to your Senators and

Member of the House of Representatives and ask them to attend a briefing

by Autism Action Network executive board member Lou Conte and Holland,

executive director of The Birt Center for Autism Law and

Advocacy, who will present the findings of their recently published article,

" Unanswered Questions from the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program: A Review of

Compensated Cases of Vaccine-Induced Brain Injury, " published in the

peer-reviewed Pace Environmental Law Review, vol. 28, no. 2.

See the article here:

Ask Your Senator and Congressmember to send a staffer to the Vaccine

Injury Compensation Program breakfast briefing on Thursday, May 12, Rayburn

B-339 at 8:30.

RSVP to bclay@... or text/call: 202-498-4461 to reserve a

breakfast.

The article, released on Tuesday, May 10, is a first-of-its-kind

investigation, providing critical information for legislators and staff on the

Congressionally-created Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP). The report

identifies more than 80 individuals who were compensated for vaccine

injuries through the VICP who also have documented autism as one of their

vaccine-injuries. The government has been saying for decades that these people

do

not exist.

The authors will also be prepared to discuss the impact of the Supreme

Court's recent Bruesewitz v. Wyeth decision, which stops all vaccine injury

claims associated with vaccine design defect from going to civil court.
