Tegretol and bipolar disorder

Has anybody else used tegretol for epilepsy and when they were taken off

realized they had bipolar symptoms? Just wondering because it doubles as a

bipolar medicine and that is what my doctor thinks happened to me. Just in case

you are wondering I don't take it anymore because I had neurosurgery. Seizure

free for 11 years.
