Guest guest
>>>The truth seeker in me wouldn't give up so I bought a book called Anatomy of the Spirit by an author named Carolyne Myss. She talks about diseases and their relation to your spirit respectively and at the time I read gallbladder liver was related to anger, I totally dismissed it. <<< Hi , Great book! I've read a lot of Dr Carolyn Myss's work, too, including Anatomy of the Spirit. Awesome author for anyone interested in the Mind/Body/Spirit connection to the body's ailments. I loved your idea of doing a relationship inventory! It's sounds very similar to one that I have personally used and now use in my work - creating a Life Timeline where you would list and briefly describe all the critical events, turning points and people in your life, from your earliest memories. Once the timeline is complete, repeat patterns emerge that can be pinpointed and brought into awareness. There is much more to it than this, but that is the basic format. What soon becomes clear, however, is how simple early beliefs can become the " directors " of our lives...often brought back to life in every situation where remembrances of these intense emotions are triggered - like anger, frustration, ridicule, hurt, etc, as well as those mirrored in others. Simple conscious awareness and learning to trust one's own process and intuition (or gut-feelings - interesting how intuition is described as this!) is so key to self-healing on all levels, including the physical.....and the digestive tract in general. )) A system I use for healing any upsetting feeling that comes into my awareness is: acknowledging the feeling, accepting the experience for what it is (usually an unconscious reaction), letting the feeling go and giving it one almighty blessing for bringing something very important about myself into my awareness from which to learn and grow. It's a practice of becoming the objective observer to one's self, in effect, so that rather than living life reaCtively....life becomes more of an aware Creative process...meaning it's " perception altering " . >>>We are complex beings, not just a body but a spirit and a mind also and all three have to be attended to in order to truly heal.<<< So true, ...healing only the physical serves no purpose, if we leave ourselves open to recurrences of the same ol' same ol' lack of ease within the body. >>>It's nice to know someone else with similar gallbladder/liver issues see it similarly.<<< A real blessing to know you are out there and I'm know we have lots of kindred spirits here. ))) Having said that, please " change the channel " if this feels too off-topic for anyone reading this. I understand that many are looking for specific ways to heal the pain fast (I have been there myself)....this is more of a life practice and bears more relevance for long term healing.
