Guest guest
>>>The conclusion that there is no value because there is no science is the " ignorant arrogance " of science. Truly believe that Dr. Mendelssohn was right in his book " Confessions of a medical heretic " when he said that " Medicine is not a science in this country... it is a religion. " <<< Dave, thanks for all your efforts here. It's truly fascinating reading through all your insightful emails. The more people with whom I speak on a daily basis, the more I see a growing 'mass consciousness' of disgruntlement and distrust with the medical profession. Doctors do the best they can with the tools they have and the system they must work within, but Mendelssohn couldn't have described the situation more aptly! While it's so valuable for us to make use of medicine's tools, it's also so vital to learn to trust what our own individual bodies are telling us and not just hand over our personal power. I think the paradigm is gradually shifting more towards individuals taking responsibility for self-healing and that's why the majority of people are here in this group, which is geared to equipping us with taking back these reins. Medicine is a business like any other and, though it may take a while for the paradigm to fully shift, the economic forces of client demand is a powerful contender. Fear about our physical state may have brought us here, but we're certainly receiving a life-altering, empowering health education from all the wise folk in this group, like you. That's a fine start! So, bless you for that and everyone else who takes so much time sharing their experience and knowledge with us. Peace, n
