I'm really hoping to get that juicer soon! I'm not in either area. The onions they harvest around here are mostly Spanish Sweet Onions, the outer skin is a light copper-color, and it blows off of the onions while they are being trucked to the factory (where they are sized, weighed, and bagged) and the dried skins look rather beautiful floating through the air. One of my friends is a retired PE teacher and whenever a tiny whirlwind would go through the school playground she would have the children lie down on the ground and watch the " sparkling dance of the onion skins " as they blew in circles higher and higher into the sky. I live on the Idaho/Oregon border near the city of Ontario, Oregon. http://www.ieoonions.com/bestonions.html Idaho/Eastern Oregon Onion Growers site http://www.illustriousonionskinplayers.org/ The Onion Skin players site.
