Guest guest
Hi Del, I can't give you much information about your situation, but I can tell you that liver stones are formed in the liver as well as the gallbladder. I have had my gallbladder out for 7 years now and still have problems with stones. I have done appproximately 10-12 liver flushes since last july and have gotten out lots of stones. I have also passed stones before the flushes on there own. Bile is produced in the liver so it stands to reason that stones can be formed there. They can beformed by any foreign body in which the biles salts start to form around. (ex. parasites, dead tissue cells, cholesterol) The cleanseing is done the same for the liver as the gallbladder. The flush is identical as well. Good herbs to try are milk thistle and changs herbs. They will help the liver /gallbadder along with the healing process. I really have not studied the kidney but it is not really connected to liver/gallstones, that I am aware. Guest guest
Del; First off I see that you already have one very difficult condition with which to deal. CD is very similar to and likely a cause of IBS, which is suffered by many with liver and gallstone problems. I would also like to note that there is a very broad difference between the stones that develop in the liver area of which includes the liver, gallbladder and pancreas. The urinal area is the kidneys, bladder and the associated tubing to those organs. So, the stone that develops in one is not related to the other excepting in what can occur with certain hard stone development like calcified stones. That would be the only similarity of these two areas, but would occur independent of each other. However,,,, the body is synergetic and can have one thing as a preemptive cause of another. By taking heart disease as an example we can note that too much LDL cholesterol and undigested proteins in the blood can cause the heart to have clogged veins around it and this then leads to a damaged muscle mass and that in turn makes for a heart attack. The real cause started with too much cholesterol of which is routed as a cause from the liver not being given the right tools from which to make the right balance of LDL and HDL cholesterols. This is some what gleamed from Dr. Cabot's book when read, and can be best noted by being underlined. We work dealing with this by eating foods of which are rich in nutritional value. They are fibrous having soluble and insoluble fiber, are enzymatic, and have vitamins, minerals, proteins or carbohydrates or both. It is a balancing act! Now the bowels come to play too in all this in that IF there is a removal process of LDL cholesterol taking place by the liver with the help of the HDL cholesterol it sent out, and there isn't a functioning waste system, the overflow of cholesterol in the stool mass will once again be reabsorbed to the body from the large intestines, negating all the good done by the good guy cholesterol. This is the key reason why consistently frequent bowel movements are necessary and a principle reason as to why the eating of oats of which has soluble and insoluble fiber of which makes for more consistent bowel fill and movement is advertised as " may reduce the risk of heart disease " . It " MAY " is right! But, this is if you understand the reason behind why it does what it does in the first place. Here are some sites to check for information and of which I haven't posted for quite some time so it would be good for many here to lend their attention to them once again. The Healthy Healing site has changed quite a bit and added the self-test information that I believe all members will enjoy. Bile recirculation http://arbl.cvmbs.colostate.edu/hbooks/pathphys/digestion/liver/bile.html Digestive system http://library.thinkquest.org/2935/Natures_Best/Nat_Best_Low_Level/Digestive_pag\ e.L.html?tqskip1=1 Dietary fiber http://www.bethisraelny.org/healthinfo/dietaryfiber/index.html Self-testing of conditions http://www.healthyhealing.com/selftest.html Just as an extra note; Dr. Cabot's book certainly is for those of us enduring weight related problems but then too her illustrations in the book are not all of fat people. This is because many of the problems existing for those with excess weight are also present in those who are not overweight,,,,,,,,,, yet. Her book, in the back pages simply doesn't note all the oils of which are considered as good for the liver. She does have the etcetera noted there lending weight to any natural oil being good for us. I'm actually surprised to see canola oil being mentioned as one of the good oils since it shouldn't be used for cooking and since it is a genetically engineered type of oil that in the homeopathic community would be lacking in a natural energy. Personally, I avoid it. http://www.pihealth.com/canola_oil.htm Some of the things we have to keep in mind, as we do grow old, are that our bodies may be predisposed to certain disease because of how they were treated in our youth, and because of conditions of which are genetic in nature. It is quite a battle for those who are in these compromising positions, myself included, to get various modalities of healing health remedies to work properly. In some cases people survive extra years just from drugs alone or help from others but regardless of what we do today we all have the same destiny in time. We may starve off the inevitable, for a time, and I guess that is the challenge of which we all enjoy in some way. I know I enjoy being in a position of having been there and done that, and that I have survived these extra years of maintaining my original organs and that am able to encourage others to do the same by my example. Dale >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I got the book he recomended, The Liver Cleanse Diet. And started to the best of my ability eating more EFA. I can't seem to eat any good raw fiber foods or raw nuts. Anyway I am some confused about the flushes and the stones. True or false: Stones only form in the GB and if they are in the liver or kidney, they got there by way of the GB??? Can stones ever get in the liver?? This book is talking about cleaning up the liver by diet and exercise only. Does that mean if stones are in the liver, the diet will disolve them? I don't see mention of doing a flush for the liver in the book. Can stones form in the kidney without ever being in the GB ??? This book seems to be geared towards overweight people. I am not at all overweight. Is that a good sign that there is nothing wrong with my liver. I have no fever, chills, jaundise. Only pain that has subsided as long as I don't eat. Before this happened I was eating well and had been for at least 3-4 years. A eat a lot like the book describes. Good fats, EFA. Never cooking food over the temp stated in the book, no trans fats. Raw fruits and veggies every day. Rotating good pasture raised chicken with grass-fed other meats. Not eating much meats. No butter or margarine, no dairy because I think I am casein intolerant. I was able to eat some hard raw colby cheese, that I had pretty regular. I was making kefir and that seemed to be okay. I am celiac. Have been true to it for 2 years. The only thing I can think that triggered this is I did start eating more gluten-free grains right before this happened. I did't eat refined sugar. I loved chocolate and had a piece of my own homemade chocolate everyday. No cooking involved and a balance of flax oil and coconut oil is used. I am confused as to why coconut oil is not recommented in the book. I think it is a very good oil. Much better than some of the other oils in the book! Could that be my downfall? I have been eating coconut oil for the pass 3-4 years but with a balance of n-3's. I guess anyone reading this would have to go back and read my other post to get the whole story, sorry.
