Guest guest
I have some questions about some of the info in the email from Dale that I got when I joined this list. I got the book he recomended, The Liver Cleanse Diet. And started to the best of my ability eating more EFA. I can't seem to eat any good raw fiber foods or raw nuts. Anyway I am some confused about the flushes and the stones. True or false: Stones only form in the GB and if they are in the liver or kidney, they got there by way of the GB??? Can stones ever get in the liver?? This book is talking about cleaning up the liver by diet and exercise only. Does that mean if stones are in the liver, the diet will disolve them? I don't see mention of doing a flush for the liver in the book. Can stones form in the kidney without ever being in the GB ??? This book seems to be geared towards overweight people. I am not at all overweight. Is that a good sign that there is nothing wrong with my liver. I have no fever, chills, jaundise. Only pain that has subsided as long as I don't eat. Before this happened I was eating well and had been for at least 3-4 years. A eat a lot like the book describes. Good fats, EFA. Never cooking food over the temp stated in the book, no trans fats. Raw fruits and veggies every day. Rotating good pasture raised chicken with grass-fed other meats. Not eating much meats. No butter or margarine, no dairy because I think I am casein intolerant. I was able to eat some hard raw colby cheese, that I had pretty regular. I was making kefir and that seemed to be okay. I am celiac. Have been true to it for 2 years. The only thing I can think that triggered this is I did start eating more gluten-free grains right before this happened. I did't eat refined sugar. I loved chocolate and had a piece of my own homemade chocolate everyday. No cooking involved and a balance of flax oil and coconut oil is used. I am confused as to why coconut oil is not recommented in the book. I think it is a very good oil. Much better than some of the other oils in the book! Could that be my downfall? I have been eating coconut oil for the pass 3-4 years but with a balance of n-3's. I guess anyone reading this would have to go back and read my other post to get the whole story, sorry. Thanks for any input, Del
