Hello everyone,

I haven't written in quite a while, and I don't often get to read

all the postings. A pity, because I always learn something new, and

am inspired to keep trying to improve my diet and lifestyle.

Last year when I had my first (and only) two gb attacks, the surgeon

had me terrified and ready for surgery. However, while he was still

sharpening the knife, I found you. With the knowledge you helped me

acquire and the support you gave me, I started to flush, and I

haven't had another attack. For that I am incredibly thankful.

Since I drive a truck for a living, it's a real challange to eat

right and an even bigger challange to get excercize. It's also a

challange to read the list. But in the last few months, my husband

has even started reading your posts. He often reads items to me as

I'm busy with other things, or quotes someone from the list out of

the blue.

He never said a word, though, about you convincing him to buy me a

juicer for Christmas. I never even mentioned it to him. So thanks,

listers, for your help, your inspiration, your willingness to share

knowledge and experience, your enthusiasm in helping others. Thank

you especially for helping me deprive one more knife-wielder of a

few mercedes payments, and for my Christmas juicer!

Excuse me now while I run down to the produce market and terrorize

everything on the shelves ;)

The Happiest and Healthiest of New Years to Everyone!!!
