Guest guest
After reading here and several other sites, I am convinced that surgery should be a last chance option. As the doctors told me I had to have the gall bladder removed I kept asking them questions. Mostly I asked why they couldn't remove the stones without removing the gall bladder. Thier answer was simply, " You'll just make more stones. " They told me over and over that there would be no significant change in my lifestyle and they perform this surgery 5 or 6 times a week. Well, I asked around my very small town. I've talked to several people who have had this surgery and not one is happy. NOT ONE. I am going to get the Cabot book and I am getting the neccessary items to do my second flush. I had not been aware that several flushes may be neccessary nor had I seen the pictures of the larger stones that have been passed by people. ( Thank you, ) The thing that bothers me the most in all this is the doctors attitudes. If I have to change my dietary habits anyway, why is removal of my organs the ONLY option for them? And why when presented with someone who questions did they get so adamant and one of them so angry. As they told me my ONLY option, it refused to register as the truth in my brain. I have been experiemented on before by a doctor. At nine years old I had a double hernia operation. Instead fo stitches, the doctor chose to use a " new and wonderful " approach of surgical tape, which he had been seeing much better results in regards to speed of healing. Well. I healed alright. One week after the tape was removed, my incisions reopened. The hell that was the next ten months I won't even describe except to say it was something I wouldn't want to go through at age 35 let alone age 9. Thank you all again. The websites I have found linked to here and your words may just have prevented me from making the biggest mistake of my life. Thank you, from Minnesota
Guest guest
, only one more thing to warn you about. Almost as bad as the tunnel-visionistic and dinosauric surgeons you've experienced, you will also just have to brace yourself for the wave of mostly-well-intentioned relatives, co-workers, friends and other buttinskis who come out of the woodwork when they find out what you are doing. Their goal is to hammer you with stories of at least 25 people who " did exactly as their doctor said " had surgery, and that old " GB was about to EXPLODE " and " if they would have waited another 10 minutes...well... they'd be dead " ! And then you will get at least 5 stories of people " who didn't listen to their doctor.. thought they were smarter than God and ALL the doctors (sorta the same thing) " ...well needless to say, they died! Many of these fear-mongers get all bent out of shape, threatened even, by your refusal to go with the herd. This can be especially true (in some cases) if they've had their own GB removed. Most of us just learn this about holistic medicine, we become damn discrete when it comes to whom we even discuss our medical choices and options. Ignorant people, particularly relatives but including some of your good friends (who could even leave you over this), will try to rain on your parade. I hope you either won't give them a chance, or you will listen politely then file the unsolicited advice in the appropriate container. Guest guest
Funny you should say that, Will. No sooner did I make my decision than people did start coming out of the woodowrk telling me to listen to my doctor. Unfortunately, for them, I ran my own little survey. I spoke to over 50 people who have either had their gall bladder taken out or their spouse had the surgery. Of these people ONLY THREE report no problems at all. And each and every one of these three had dietary concerns PRIOR to gall bladder removal. I have an appointment with a holistic physician on Monday. Thanks again,
Guest guest
Ha, ha, ha, , GOOD WORK! I love the survey idea. That was good. However, there is one thing you have to factor in..... those 3 people LIED! Keep us in the loop, Will
