Guest guest
Hello everyone! I haven't posted in a while but I'm still checking in and reading every few days, you guys are always in my thoughts! has been doing really well. He's been flare free for just over a year now. He still has occasional aches and pains but not enough to hold him back any. I sometimes feel a little guilty that he's doing so well when so many on list can't seem to catch a break. I know it's silly, but there it is. We went to Mayo on Thursday and we are tapering his mtx down to 2.5mg/week for the next few months. We will be stopping it altogether at the beginning of summer. Hopefully he'll stay in remission. If he does then we will look at switching the naproxen to as needed only. If not then it's back on the mtx. Keep your fingers crossed! NEWBIES, is it just my imagination or have there been a lot of new faces recently? I'm sorry you all have to be here - I wish none of us did - but this is a wonderful group and I'm glad that you've found us! My heart breaks for CHRISTENE, the mother that lost her little boy. I guess it hit closer to home for me since I have an too. LISA, I'm sorry to hear the remicade isn't doing it for you - hopefully the Humira will kick ol' aurthur in the butt. My thoughts are with you, your mother, and your family. If you take after her at all, she must be a fighter - I hope she wins her battle against cancer. ALIA & Caroline, good luck in Boston! How's the fatigue issue? Have you made any decisions about seeing an immunologist? HELEN, I can just imagine your pain at seeing Nick reduced to army- crawling. I hope it's just a virus and the remicade continues to help him. SONIA, congratulations on having your chiropractic office up and running! I'm so happy to hear that Aundrea is doing well and is off her meds - that is fantastic! I am really looking forward to the day when I can say the same thing about . JO - How's Bayly doing? Did the legal issues with the preschool ever go anywhere? I haven't seen anything from VAL about Robbie in a long time - have I missed something? I Hope Uncle Rusty get's his computer issues resolved soon! The list just wouldn't be the same without him. Everyone else - Hugs and prayers to those who need them, hang in there!
