Guest guest Posted December 8, 2004 Report Share Posted December 8, 2004 Hi, One is told to drink lots of water. Only problem, one shouldn't too soon before/after meals for proper digestion. Regarding the period before/after meals, intuitively I believe that the required period before meals would be shorter than the required period after meals, as I believe water then would be quickly absorbed into the body leaving the stomach free for digesting food. I have not done any research into this tho' How long does it take water to be absorbed into the body? How long should one refrain from drinking water after a meal?
