Guest guest
Veri, I have seen this too. In my experience with this JRA stuff. When started having the So called Growing pains. I went with that Diagnoses. Well then other symtoms started. I thought about what My Mother in law said no 2 kids are alike. They may be similar but none are alike. God made each one of us different. Like with my 2 kids. Neither are alike it's like Day and Night. Each have a Attitude but it's not the same attitude. Something about them are different. But if you say something about the other they are sticking up for each other lolol. They will fight among each other but no one can mess with 1 without the other stepping in. I think that is a Sibling thing though as I seen this with my Siblings lolol. I have a lot of Siblings and not one is the same. They all are different. But like I said if someone jumps on one of us I have a crew to jump in. lolol. JRA ----Just Remember Assuming. lolol. Some of these kid's have Asthma. But that doesn't say they have JRA. Some of these kids have Eye involvement but that doesn't say they have JRA. Some hurt without swelling and some have swelling without pain. Some are so tired and some are not tired. Some have a Positive ANA some have a Neg ANA. Labs can be different just as each child is different. Back years ago Dr's though women were nuts. lolol The women was complaining of being tired all the time. They would hurt. Golden Girls did a show about it. Bea Arthur did a good part. Her Dr even suggested she see a head Dr. Come to find out she had Fatigue Syndrome. Bea thought she was going crazy until she found one dr who had seen the symtoms before. The bad thing is JRA you can't see it. You eventually see the damage later. The kids feel JRA everyday. Most live without knowing life without pain. was asked this question by the Dr. When do you not hurt? said never. Asked about the lowest on the pain scale she had been. said a 3. She was asked how long have you been like this? said I do not remember living without any pain. I think JRA is the umbrella to many thing's that is related to JRA under this Umbrella is many symtoms can be there. So if you have say 3 out of 10 you have JRA. Just like the way they Diagnose you to which you have. It's good to keep a journal so you can let the Dr see the day by day way it is at home. No 2 kids are alike. This is why we ALL can talk and see what is going on at home. Parent to Parent. Robbin
