Jen, egg yolks are a good source of lecithin. I haven't seen an egg-derived

lecithin product on the market, but if you like eggs, just eat three or four

a day and you'll get a decent amount of lecithin. All you'd need, I'm sure.

Since lecithin is a phospholipid and is both water and fat soluble, I'd think

supplementing could be dangerous, as an excessive amount could cause you to

lose cholesterol and fat-soluble vitamins, providing you don't have an excess

you need to " chelate " .

" What can one say of a soul, of a heart, filled with compassion? It is a

heart which burns with love for every creature: for human beings, birds, and

animals, for serpents and for demons. The thought of them and the sight of

them make the tears of the saint flow. And this immense and intense

compassion, which flows from the heart of the saints, makes them unable to

bear the sight of the smallest, most insignificant wound in any creature.

Thus they pray ceaselessly, with tears, even for animals, for enemies of the

truth, and for those who do them wrong. "

In the new issue of " Wise Traditions " Enig wrote an artilce

called soy sludge. You can get the idea of what was said about soy

lecithin. She does say that lecithin from eggs is a very good

possably the best food source of lecithin. So I do't know what to say

one says black the other white. I tend to still believe in eggs.

Soy lecithin is not natural and I don't believe our ancestors had it.

They got it from somewhere.

My son badly regressed from it. Later I learned that my son has

tendency to seizure activity in the brain, and lecithin increases this

activity.

If you are concerned about lecithin being a soy product, just wanted to let

you know that I have verified with several sources that soy lecithin does

NOT contain the soy protein that causes a reaction for those with an

allergy, intolerance, or other soy digestion problem. One person who

verified this for me is the head doctor who answers nutritional questions at

Immunolabs.
