Boldo is probably one of the top the half dozen liver and gallbladder herbs

on the planet. I use copious amounts. Excellent cholegaque (sp?), and

traditionally used in South America for what? Dissolving gall stones.

Are you able to buy this at stores in North America? Is it on its'

own or is it in a blend of herbs?

Very much so. It is both alone and in a lot of formulas. It is even drunk

as a culinary tea in South America. (contains some volatile oils that I am

not too fond of). -Dave
