Guest guest
Alecia, You mentioned having a mirgraine without pain. You reminded me of something my mom just told me the other day. You see my family is inflected with migraines. My mom also has had flashing lights and her dr told her that is a form of migraine. She will get them so bad that she has been out for 32 hours. Hers will last weeks at a time and numb her feet. Mine are very intense. Really strong throbbingh pain in the left side of my head and in my left eye. My eye will close and i lose muscle control in that eye. I can't stand light or noise and i get very ill and start vomitting. When they are real bad i have been know to hit my head on the wall or door which actually eases the pain a bit but that usually means iam on my way to the ER which i hate cause they give me demerol and phenergan and i am usually out for about 12 hours. I do have a med that i take if i can't catch the migraine in the first stage and that is Imitrex. you can get it in pill form or self injection. the only side affect i get from it is i feel hot only in my head and i feel like have a heavy weight sitting on my chest but it passes in about 20 mins and usually the headache is pretty much gone in 30 mins. My mom has tried it as well and she has about the same side affects. There is a web site where you can get info on migraines. it tells you the different forms of migraines and what could trigger migraines. For example i know that if i eat chocolate after 8pm i will usually wake up in the morning with a migraine or if i have a beer cause the hops in beer is a trigger for me as well.Stress is also a big trigger for me as well as having my period or havine to many hormones in my body. Usually with in a week after having each one of my kids i would have a major migraine. Birth control pills are also a trigger. The first migraine i had i was 13 yrs old and it was triggered by a head injury i got after being hit by a car on my bike. also gets migraines and so does . Ra seems to be a trigger for jesse and and his sinius allergies are his trigger. Jake gets real bad head aches too but have not figured out what they are cause he usually gets a bad headache before he has a seziure. any way this site is at discoveryhealth.com. Check it out it may be of some help to you. good luck. shelly
Guest guest
like someone already pointed out. the depression is organically related to the ra. it doesn't stop. but you have to keep, plugging away, and not let it defeat you. yes i do know how tough this is to do. keep up the good work..... Guest guest
she is right. I constantly fight depression, in fact this past week I've had a real bad time with it. I'm trying so hard to loose weight , I am doing moderate exercises, which makes me hurt, can't seem to control my eating, I am trying to follow the First Place program and I'm sorry it is really hard. Soooo, I feel sorry for myself, get mad at myself and eat and cry. Then... I pray. Opps,,,, then I realize if I turn it over and really pray, I'll be alright. Will I ever learn??? Have a good day sweetie. Jan
Guest guest
also has bouts of depression. Its hard to think of a little boy being depressed but he has days that are real blue. The stress of dealing with school and then the stress of not dealing with school and all the drs and not being able to be like other kids or to even keep up with his younger brothers or hang out with his older brother makes it hard for jesse. Right now he is having a blue day cause his meds have increased and now the Bactrim on top of it. Now he is throwing up and he really hates to do that. He can't even take his meds which stresses him out but it also stresses him out that he has to take them. One other reason he is sad is now that he is approved for the growth hormones we have to put it on hold until we find out what has been making him so tired and weak. He has an appt. on wed with his real peds dr and we are going to find out about this bleeding that he keeps having and why he looks like he hasn't slept in a yr. He has dark purple rings around his eyes. Hoping that he doesn't have anything else going on in his little body. I have to give him credit though, he tries real hard not to be sad but i can see it in his eyes. It breaks my heart. shelly

Guest guest
Greetings I have used the coke cure from Edger Cayce. It helped a lot. I did that in between a flush or two! I will have to find it. But, it is not with coke the drink..it used the syrup..( it is not sweet at all!!) Yours in Good health nieema .. Guest guest
Greetings Found it: Remedy 5097-1: Cola Syrup DESCRIPTION Coca Cola is an old-fashioned remedy for stomach distress which also serves as a mild diuretic. Edgar Cayce recommended that this product be used as a medicine rather than a beverage, and should be taken in prescribed, limited quantities. This syrup is uncarbonated - Edgar Cayce typically advised against the use of carbonated drinks. INDICATIONS AND USAGE Used for purifying the bladder and kidneys. CONTRAINDICATIONS No known contraindications. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION Edgar Cayce suggested small doses mixed with plain (uncarbonated) water. To dilute syrup, mix 1 oz of syrup with 5 oz of plain water. To be taken orally, with or without ice. Use no more than 3 times per week. CAYCE QUOTE ON REMEDY 5097-1 Do take coca cola occasionally as a drink for the activity of the kidneys, but do not take it with carbonated water. Buy or have the syrup prepared and add plain water to this. Take about 1/2 oz. or 1 oz. of the syrup and add plain water. This to be taken about every other day with or without ice. This will aid in purifying the kidney activity and bladder and will be better for the body. I have used several of the remedies that he has recommended. I was really suprised how well things worked then I stopped to think about the fact that the tings that worked in the old days som of them worked too well and were then stopped. Is my age showing??? good health to all nieema

Ah, if only the Coca cola syrup was still that which could be obtained when Edgar Cayce wrote this. The original Coca Cola was just that: Coca (Yep, Where we get cocaine) (de-cocainized by the time he wrote this) leaf extract and Kola nut extract- mainly. It has been diluted, prostituted, and altered almost as much as the Constitution of the United States since then. Consume at your own risk. Personally I would find health and survival valid contra-indications. The issues one would try to deal with can be addressed much better with other botanicals. -Dave
Guest guest
I think your talking about the cocaine that they used to put in coke. That is where coke got itès name. Guest guest
KC, That was a very thoughtful response to Lori. However, I have to strongly disagree with one of your statements: " I'm no different than anyone else on this board and I know there are many of you who reach out many times to help someone else that is in great need or guidance and support. " We all know on this board that you are " different " from many. What you do to help people is heads above the crowd. We all know that no matter what you personally are dealing with, you will answer your phone at any God awful hour - if you think there is someone who needs to talk. At the same time, I have to strongly agree with this statement of yours: " I will go to the umtenth degree to help and assist someone, just to prevent one more unsuspecting family from going through what many of us have had to deal with. " KC, you are truly one of a kind and we are all very lucky to have you. The number of mold victims and their families, friends, and associates whose lives have been made better, (even saved), because of YOU, is a number too big too even phathom. So, quit lying! You are way different than most people and we all know it!!!! Sharon
Guest guest
Lori, You're very welcome. This is what this group is all about. As most of you already know, I will go to the umtenth degree to help and assist someone, just to prevent one more unsuspecting family from going through what many of us have had to deal with. I'm no different than anyone else on this board and I know there are many of you who reach out many times to help someone else that is in great need or guidance and support. I THANK YOU. I know at times many of us feel that there is no hope and it seems like our voices are not being heard. We feel helpless, angered, frustrated, that we are not making any headway. But I must say, we are, we have made great headway. And the ones that count and could make a difference are listening. They have no choice any longer. I know it seems at times that nothing has changed, but it has and there are opportunities now that we are taking advantage of that weren't available when I started 10 years ago. Lately I have been receiving alot of email that have been infected with virus's. That's why we can not allow attachments on this board, as much as I would like to be able to. So in my mind obviously there has been alot of pressure applied to those who's credibility will be severely destroyed, unless they do a complete aboutface. Thank you all for your help and hard work.
