I went and got the phone and went strait back to the pot! I demanded an appt after they told me i could get one in two days! The imediatly sent me to a specialist, who in turn is sending me for a colonoscopy. Altough that is not for another 6 weeks. YEs, that is the soonest they can take me. You might want to think about calling and getting in somewhere else. What you have described is something that diagnoses of which should not be delayed. -Dave

Short history- 32yr old female, 130 lbls-Pain for 12 yrs, no GB for 11 years, Pain few times weekly going into full attack around ovulation time (sorry men!) Pain is in the middle below ribcage. When eating big meal left side bulges out. Taking levsin (pill under tounge) Ok.. got that out of the way... Out of the blue after a pretty large 2 hr attack, i felt like i had to go, and when i did i thought i just had diarea, until i wiped and realized it was blood and clots. (sorry for the graphics, but i know you guys take it well) little BM but also what looked like little pieces of chopped liver uncooked (sorry again) Bled with BM for about 5 days, then it completely stopped. literally one hour i was still bleeding and then it stopped-nothing. (no sign of hemmoroids) So im going for a colonoscopy in 6 weeks, There is a possibility that there may be endometriosis. But in any event you need to get a medical diagnoses of this as swiftly as possible. I have already read and responded to your latter post as to that that is the soonest they can get you in is 6 weeks. Totally unacceptable. I really can't stress enough that I feel you need to know what is going on yesterday. Consider going somewhere else even if you have to travel. Did they take a stool sample? I would expect they would have asked you to take a sample immediately to them. If so, what did they say? What color blood? Bright and fresh, or dark and coagulated? If this is truly tissue from inside your body and you were hemorrhaging within your intestinal tract for 5 days, time could, and I only mean could, be at a premium. This could also be as simple as an infection that is now gone. I do consider the fact that the bleeding to have stopped quickly a very good sign. Good luck. -Dave
